Absolutely LOVE this pump. It's been in use since Sept/Oct of 2023 without issue, and has honestly been rock solid. My previous return pump (Reef Octopus VarioS-6 ), cost me about 4 times as much, but refused to keep a consistent flow for more than a few days. I had to keep adjusting the gate valve from my overflow to keep my sump water level where it needed to be, which as you can imagine was infuriating. Even after cleaning it, the flow would be ok for a few days then start dropping.
Anyway, I honestly didn't expect much from this pump - but man was I wrong. It's dead silent, has never had any issues whatsoever and has been amazingly consistent for me. If you are on the fence, give it a shot before buying one of the overpriced "premier" pumps. I will 100% be buying another for a backup, and if I start up another tank, this pump will absolutely be on the build list.

This unit works amazingly with my UV sanitizer, I now have the clearest water ever. My wife even noticed how clear the tank is. Coming from her that's saying a lot! Let talk about the noise that the pump makes. All I heard was a click when I started the pump up. I've got cats that purr and make more noise than this pump does. You will not know it's running, ok maybe when turn the power down so it doesn't makes a dent in your substrate.

Great pump, suppose to be used as a sump or waterchange pump but I needed a good pump for my saltwater mixing station. I needed one strong enough and reliable enough to push water through a 1micron sediment filter and also mix the water. The test setup I made using this pump works very well and is pretty quiet. planning on buying again for larger scale mixing setups.
