This was such a great gift! I love mysteries and this was definitely a mystery. I feel like it was a little bit repetitive at times but it was understandable at those points. And they were a bit too many names in the beginning to remember but other than those two things I couldn't put the book down! It was great.

I'm not a big fan of "beautiful people" novels but this one turned out to be a good one with lots of twists and it was quite fast moving. Sometimes it was a bit challenging to keep track of the families and who belonged to whom but not too hard to follow.

I havent read Barbara Freethy in quite some time, so when I came across this book, I jumped at a chance to read it. And of course, she did not disappoint. The story is about a missing girl, Melanie who was never found, but ten years later, everyone involved returns to the island for the wedding of Kelsey. This brings back so many memories to Willow since Melanie was her best friend.

But the wedding gets delayed when Kelsey herself disappears. What happened to her and how this relates to the first disappearance is covered in the whole story. Things get more involved and a few twists and turns show up and of course, a different kind of ending than you would expect.

Glad I picked this one up and got back to reading this author. #fourstars.

I give this one a 4.5. It was slow getting into for me but once it picked up, it picked up, and I didn't want to put it down. Just when I thought I had it figured our, I realized I didn't. And when I thought I had it figured out again...I realized I still didn't. The plot twist was good and the ending was wrapped up beautifully. It all came together full circle!
