    It’s perfect
    So I got this a few days ago, and I’ve had it in my tow truck for a day and a half. And it took me a bit to get it to work but I think that’s just user error and not the device. Works like a charm, does exactly what I want it to. I just wish it would be able to Bluetooth to the radio rather then with an aux cord but that’s not a big deal. If you can’t put in a CarPlay/ android auto radio or don’t want to spend the money on a quality radio, this is a great alternative. 8/16/23

      This new screen works perfectly. The bracket installation is simple and very sturdy. There was a slight occasional noise, but I easily fixed it with double-sided tape. The connection between the phone and the screen is very stable, and I haven't experienced any disconnections in several weeks of use. I even recommended it to my family, and they bought one as well. This product has brought a new user experience and new life to our old car.

      I was so excited to get this for my car , since the shape of my car radio is unique and getting an aftermarket radio installed would be super expensive.

      For the price of this unit I’m happy with what it came with and how it performs. Every car is different and figuring out where you want to mount this can be a challenge with the hardware provided.

      Once mounted , syncing to my iPhone was very easy. Using the standard Bluetooth process with pairing codes.

      Something to note about Audio quality.

      Using the radio or the aux cable for audio output left a high pitched static noise in the background during music playback

      Using the your cars Bluetooth for audio output gives proper clarity.

      My car in particular doesn’t have Bluetooth on the stereo so I’ve been using an Amazon echo auto for that. And this CarPlay unit CAN play music through the echo auto and it sounds great.

      I was really worried because I thought the aux cable that was provided was going to be all that I needed. But the static noise was a dealbreaker, which is a shame because I have a bunch of cords to manage around the console having to use the echo auto and the the cords needed for the CarPlay unit.

      I’ve only had this device for 4 months and now it’s starting to glitch in and out. To clarify, the Bluetooth doesn’t stay connected to my phone and it will shut off randomly. I at first thought it was the wire that came with the device or my cigarette lighter attachment but it continues to glitch. I’m so disappointed to have paid over $100 for this!

      There's much to like about this product! It was amazingly easy to install and the screen looks great. It's been a tremendous help for my wife as she navigates around our city. The image is crisp and the touch screen is responsive.

      However, the sound is terrible. When working through the default audio, the volume can barely go high enough to hear a call, especially when driving on a loud highway. What's worse, the microphone is one of the worst I've had to listen to and is so bad that it's basically unusable.

      Overall, this has been a huge disappointment. If it wasn't too late to return it, I would. (We tried, we really tried to make it work, but at the end of the day, this unit will be going to the scrap heap.)

      the one downside of this system is how insanely long the wires are. i had to wrap mine up with a hair tie and stick it up in the dash for it to be somewhat contained. the device itself works great, and connects fine to my cars aux, and my phone. was relatively easy set up, with some patience.
