well, I tried the adapter this morning, and the gage was non-functional. it arrived damaged, with the lens broken (guessing from harsh shipment), and I found it does not work at all when I was watching for system pressure when i was clearing out my lines. sorry for the 1-star rating, but that has been my experience.

I like this version over the one that does not have a valve on it or a flexible hose. Product is well made albeit the hose seems a bit flimsy. I used this to push the air from my lines in my travel trailer. It would appear that it was relatively successful and got most if not close to all of it out. I say that because when i finally stopped there was still a spray coming out of the bathtub. If you've ever seen an airline with a lot of water in it, that's what this process looks like. Be sure to place a towel around the sinks, etc to keep it from blowing all over. To give better pressure at each station, I closed all other fixtures and did them one at a time. be sure to leave at least one open or you stand a chance of popping a line or messing up a fixture. Also, don't forget the toilet. Overall, I would give buy this again and recommend it to my friends as it is simple enough to use and took less than 10 minutes total from hookup to having everything put away.

The regulator on this adds peace of mind when flushing the RV water system for winter storage. I don't have to worry about forgetting to regulate the pressure from the air compressor or that a family member might either. Too much air pressure into the RV water system could cause expensive problems way too quickly. I love that this regulator is pre-set to a safe limit and can't get misadjusted later.
