Comes with white plumbing tape. I used yellow gas tape no big deal. Assembled pieces into product by simply looking at pic, easy. Side with yellow valve on off handle inserts into the tank you are filling. Follow safety protocol, wear gloves and safety glasses and watch a video if you're not certain but it is basic and straight forward process. I assembled, leak tested product and filled a 5lb from a 30lb propane in less than 10 min. This is a huge time saver as well as $$$. Highly recommend this kit.

I am a licensed HVAC technician and am versed in propane transfer. I had read the 2nd question answered by Mary on July 1,2022 which read "One end screws into output of large tank; (500 gal in my case); and other end screws into small tank." Upon receiving the package, not assembled, and supplied with the incorrect sealant tape I inspected the pieces that connect to the tank. The only transfer this assembly could manage would be a 100lb LP to a smaller LP tank. The fitting for the larger 500 gal tank is not supplied. I submitted a request to have the correct fitting supplied. Instead of doing so I was given directions to return the kit and I would be charged for shipping both ways. With a included disclosure that if they deemed the pieces not in the same condition they would charge a 50% re-stocking fee. Please do not waste your time with Nash Fuel as it seems this will be costing me money when I was supposed to be saving money.

I am giving them TWO stars for two simple facts. 1. The item took several days to ship and I’m sure that’s only after I emailed them. I also researched where this facility was to see if that would be a contributing factor in the delay of my shipment but turns out their outside of Lexington, KY which we’re in the same state, it shouldn’t take that long. Also as I think another reviewer mentioned is that it does come in a “box” of parts. 2. You will have to assemble this piece by piece and they DO NOT give you the proper yellow Teflon propane tape, it’s just the regular Teflon tape that your not suppose to use. But...once you’ve assembled it without any instructions it does work as advertised.

This hose does not work. If you fit it to your Large house tank and then to a BBQ battle as advertised using the fittings supplied it will not transfer propane. This is because it is only a gas not liquid. It is off the top of your tank. You need your supplier to modify the tank to allow it to be drained off the bottom using a different fitting. Most suppliers will provide you the equipment free or at a fraction of the price of this hose. Or your state regulations may not allow it at all. Just hooking this hose up to the top of the tank on the standard fitting does zero. NO TRANSFER of propane at all. I followed the instructions sent by the maker to the letter. I even had scales to weigh the BBQ tank. But after it failed I rang my supplier who told me you need to fill a BBQ bottle off the bottom liquid part of your big tank. Not off the top as these guys try to tell you. I am currently getting a full refund.
