Perfect for first sipsThe Tommee Tippee Sippee Trainer comes complete with a Closer to Nature teat to support the transition from bottle or breast to sippy cup drinking. The familiar element of the bottle teat will help encourage baby to start holding their own sippy cup. |
Soft spoutThe cup also comes with a soft silicone spout which helps your baby progress onto a new drinking action. The soft spout is gentle on little gums and encourages baby to move from sucking to sipping and learn to change the angle of the drinking cup. |
Gentle and safeYour baby’s gums can be very sensitive, especially when teething. Our super soft spout and Closer to Nature teat are gentle on gums, making sure their first sips go smoothly. And of course all of our cups are BPA-free and suitable for steam sterilizing. |

Cons: even tho the cap and the nipple has a star marked to help put the cap on but it is battle to always try to match the stars (they are same color as the ring and the cap just slightly matt so ilyou really have to look for them to find) so I always end up with water dripping in the cap and as I open it we get a mess. There are a lot of crevices that takes extra time to clean (I like to wash baby bottles by hand to ensure that they are clean). Also if you put the sippy cup nipple on the side of the two bumps (where the measuraments are) you have to tilt it more to get the water out as opposed to if it was the same as the other flat side it would be easier.
My baby likes it! I hate it!!!!
First of all, it is not leak proof, 8 months old baby holding it, attempting to move with this cup, it will be leaking all over the place, NO exceptions!
Second, the lid seems to be almost “impossible” to be closed! It is super, extremely, unbelievably HARD! Every time when I try to close it, It will always ended up hurting my hand and making my hand all red.
Third, the little tip part on top of the lid is also extremely hard, very difficult to take the cups apart to clean it! After first time taking it apart, I already saw the signs of cracking.
I bought the other straw cup for my baby, the munchkins version, but he still like this cup better. Probably because this cup is small, it is much easier for him to hold on to it compare to other bigger cups. It seems to me that it can not hold more than 4oz of water, while others usually designed to hold more than 8oz.
Poorly designed! Closing the lid of a baby cup should NOT be like the end of the world!
Should be something quick, smooth and easy!
