The Princess and her Knight (The Brightness Queen Saga Book 3) Kindle Edition
After a long winter’s nap, Saylor wakes to discover her sister the queen intends to marry the wicked necromancer, a marriage that will spell doom for both the kingdom and her sister.
But before Saylor can stop the unholy union, she must recover what she lost. Relying on the guidance of the arrogant son of a lord regent, she travels to a mythical island guarded by a legendary monster.
With her list of enemies growing and allies in short supply, she is forced to take drastic measures to ensure the safety of those she loves, a decision that could make the people fear her more than they already do.
Join Saylor as she takes her first major steps toward becoming the Brightness Queen. And, possibly, her first minor steps toward love.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2024I enjoyed the series so far. It looks like a book 4 is listed on your website as coming soon, but there is no mention of it on Amazon. Will it be released on Amazon?
- Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2024If you like adventure, far and love these are a must read... Hoping for a book 4! Need to know what happens yesterday for the sake of tomorrow!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2024These books were really good. I loved them and couldn't stop reading! I really hope there are more to come.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2024This series is not clean. Lots of gore, highly sexualized overtones and banter, as well as crudely structured language from main character and supporting characters.
The grammer and language in no way matched the setting or storyline. It was hard to read- introducing 21st c. language into a medieval timeline.
Although touted as a story about a "light princess", its heavy, opressive and dark overtones obscure any attempt to make this series feel-good or heart-warming.
I Would Not recommend the Brightness Queen Saga to any child, pre-teen or teen, and I advise young adults to tread with care. Once you have read it, you can't go back and unread it.
This author, Micheal Edmond, admits he quit writing "adult" themed books to write this "kid" series, and after reading it, and recognizing all the major adult themes running rampant through his 3 part series, he has ensured I will never pick up another book authored by him.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2024I’ve read the series. I’m kinds really over books that are broken up into smaller groupings and either another is “coming” or as this 3rd in series: Lots of unresolved issues and no indication that there is anything more.
How insulting to readers and how unpr9fessi9 al for an author.
