Kooffee did respond to my complaint over the stainless steel thermal pot. They gave me a 50% refund on the coffee maker which I did not ask. I do recommend the coffee maker. It is fabulous and I love it! I'm sure they will come out with an updated stainless steel thermal pot.

UPDATE: Seller reached out (much appreciated), evidently the warmer tray does not function (by design) if you buy the SS carafe, but honestly, that seems to be a major design flaw to me, the pot is not going to stay warm for 2+ hours without the warming tray...

This seems to be a good machine, and definitely brews a great cup of coffee, but the warming tray doesn't heat up. I got the first one, used it for almost a week and suddenly realized the 2nd cup of coffee was almost cold, checked the warming plate, it was ice cold! I returned the first one, got a replacement, but it has the same issue. I am now returning the 2nd one, and going with a different machine. Not sure how this happened on 2 of them, but maybe a bad batch of machines?

Bought this a few months ago since it's pretty rad looking. It's a super basic coffee maker. Just a two-option on/off switch. It spills whenever I pour water into the top or coffee into a cup. You can't have the filter holder attached if you want to put the coffee pot in the unit with the top on to keep it warm, which is annoying. On top of that, there isn't a heater to keep the pot of coffee warm and there is little to no insulation in the pot. I'm sure some of this information is in the description, but want to reiterate it here. If I had a friend asking me if they would recommend this coffee maker, I would not. Wish I would have looked around a bit more and not gone off the appearance.

Edit: After 7 months of basically daily use, it is no longer working properly. It has stopped brewing about 3/4 of the way through and leaves about 4 oz of water left in the water basin part. It does this every time I make coffee for a week now. I’m disappointed and I can not find a way to get into contact with them to see if they have any suggestions or fixes. We had hoped in spending more money we would have something that would last….

This coffee maker does its job quickly and well. The beep at the end of brewing is not too loud for our sleeping kiddos. While the top of the lid is a tad difficult to get off, it isnt unmanageable. Once you get the hang of it it's not difficult. We put the lid on the insulted carafe once it's brewed and it keeps the coffee hot for a long time. I can't say how long it's HOT for, but I can say 12 hours later it was still pretty warm. The coffee is tasty, though I think that it
will depend on coffee you use.

Pros; The bloming feature works well. The coffee is as good as if not better than my espro. The controls are easy to use.

Cons; the lid for the carafe fits crazy tight. The basket is too short, making it easy to snag the filters on the driper, causing them to fold down and let grounds through. (Edit. The replacement filters I got fit fine, not sure why it comes with extra tall filters.) This doesnt happen often, but is shouldent happen ever. The switch could be improoved with an auto reset after brew.

That is it. Is there room for improvement, yes. Is it a great coffee naker, yes. Do I recommend it, YES!
