The spikes look a bit intense and I was concerned they’d feel too poky and my hair would get caught on the silicone…neither is the case. There’s enough give when I scrub my head that it feels like scratching an itch I count get to. My scalp has been flaking a bit but I couldn’t quite figure out how to exfoliate it until I searched for one of these. I like the loop on top so it’s more secure in my hand and it’s the right size to fit in my hand comfortably. It feels a bit silly to review such an item but I was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience. I don’t have any flakes after washing once with this- definitely just needed some exfoliation and this was perfect.
