Unlike conventional plug-n-play soldering iron that connects directly to electricity, our station puts the electricity through a sophisticated transformer and controller IC that intelligently puts out the perfect amount of power to your soldering iron and hot air gun. We integrated these technologies to ensure your safety and allow rapid heating and lightning-fast temperature compensation.

Soldering Station

The soldering section pushes 60 watts of (maximum) power to the iron tip, providing a temperature range of 392℉～896℉. The new and improved heating element enables rapid heating and lightning-fast temperature compensation for your operation. You can even solder a broad range of components with this iron.

Rework Station

We understand how important an excellent hot air gun means for your work. Hence, we’ve built a hot air gun with a premium quality heating element and a powerful motor. With a maximum airflow volume of 120L/min and a temperature range of 212℉～896℉, you can easily remove SOIC, CHIP, QFP, PLCC, BGA, and SMD components with this hot air gun.

DC Power Supply

The DC Power supply comes with output mode and voltmeter mode. In output mode, the power supply can put out adjustable DC power 0-3A / 0-15V DC, and show the load’s power pull in real-time. In the testing mode, the voltmeter can test DC power from 0-35V DC.

Testing Station

The testing section consists of two key elements, which are the testing mode meters and the power supply. (These functions are integrated, use ONLY either at once)

USB Port

A stand-alone 5V 0.5A USB port that can power most smartphones. (do not use the USB port for devices with large capacities)

Power Supply

The respective receptacles can act as a power supply or show readings when switched to power supply's output mode. In testing mode, the power supply runs on constant C.C (Constant Current) mode to protect your delicate work devices. You can test devices of maximum voltage of up to 35V. (do not use the voltmeter for devices that runs on AC, or has a voltage value greater than 35V)

Soldering Iron

The advanced soldering iron is equipped with a gravitational motion sensor, and the internal component consists of a metal ball to detect movements. A wobbling noise may occur when the iron is picked up as a result of motion sensing. The wobbling noise is not a sign of defective product / poor build quality.

All 'station' products consist of delicate electronic components and materials, damages upon delivery may be due to potential mishandling during the transportation process.

CAUTION: when using the brass wool tip cleaner (rosin-inside), ensure there is adequate ventilation, DO NOT inhale the fume generated or consume the solid-state rosin, DO NOT allow your skin and eyes to get in direct contact with the rosin.

Great reworking system for most any user!
The unit was well protected by its packing and packaging. Everything was individually wrapped and all promised items were included. Functionality was excellent and I really liked the soldering iron temperature control for PCB work. Regular 60w iron is too hot for small leads on transistors and can lift traces from PCB. The hot air unit is great for providing right temp air(I liked 300°F) for heat shrink tubing. All the devices are easily monitored with digital LED displays for temperatures. DC power supply provides amperes and voltages on outputs.

I bought this after a lot of research into many different options. I wanted it for basic repairs, fixing older electronics (like my original iPod, an NVR, and replacing capacitors in older Mac computers). It works like a charm. Heats up fast, with easy to use controls, and feels nice and sturdy. The manual is pretty good. The readouts are clear and easy to read. Figuring out which plugs are for voltage output and which are for testing is a little confusing, but the manual is clear about which is which. I love this little unit and got it on sale, here on Amazon for a really nice price. You can go wrong with this for most users. Pros will want a little better rework solution, but for most it's a gem. You won't be sorry you purchased this unit.

When your hobbies have caused you to outgrow the $40 soldering iron, and you want to upgrade without breaking the bank, this is the station to get. Or, if you're about to jump in to soldering and reflow for the first time, this station will give you the luxury introduction as it comes with everything needed to get started.

Prior to my own purchase, I was mocked by some friends who though the "3 in 1" branding was corny, and that at the price, it *had* to be junk. This couldn't be further from what I've experienced.

The station itself is hefty and well crafted in all the ways that matter. In the "unexpected upgrade" category, the cables for the soldering iron and hot air wand are buttery smooth and do not kink up. Also, I'm using the hot air way, way more than expected. Since I have yet to tackle any significant surface-mount projects, I figured the hot air would be an under-used feature. Wrong! I use the hot air wand extensively for all the heat shrink I go through (no more digging for lighters). Conversely, I'm using the bench power supply less than I thought, and using the 5v port much more than I expected.

This is one of the advantages of the 3-in-1 design - the way you *actually* use it can vary quite a bit from the way you *think* you're going to use it. And because it's 3-in-1, it's completely flexible. And since it has no AI on board, it doesn't care how you use it. :)

The sleep mode for the soldering iron and the auto-shut off for the hot air are incredibly useful. Combined allow you to just focus on your work, with no need to fiddle with the device settings. Notably, the spin up time for the soldering iron is FAST - either from cold or from sleep mode. I'm wishing now that I upgraded a few years ago from the el-cheap-o $40 soldering iron. I'm surprised at how much more pleasant & hassle-free it is to do project work with this Yihua station.

Because I happen to do a lot of work with LEDs, I opted to get the 3A version of the power supply (which still isn't very much). If you don't need 3A, you can save about $20 with the 2A variant of this station.

As some others have noted, some of the accessories aren't at the same level of quality as the core station. But it's not a significant difference, and if you're upgrading from more basic equipment or this is your first-time soldering/rework/bench power, you probably won't care.

Definitely would buy again, or upgrade to an even better station by this same manufacturer!

 My video review is fairly thorough but overall, this is a good unit. It does a good job with temperature control and the sleep features are nice to have. This unit is fantastic for working on LED strips, DC circuits and automotive applications. The power supply module is the weakness of this unit, but if you take care when you work, you can minimize issues. When you toggle settings with the red buttons, it isn't always clear what you've selected. Overall, this is a good value for the money.

I've been building and repairing electronics for more than 40 years. I'm a Weller guy for soldering stations, though I've owned a couple of other brands over the years. With more of my projects involving surface-mount rework, I went looking for a rework station and found this one first. It looked like it would meet my needs, and it does--and then some. I haven't used the power supply, just tested it, and that's a nice feature. The USB port is handy though I don't particularly need it. Same goes for the voltage test functionality.

For surface-mount rework and soldering, I've used it quite a bit. The functionality for both is good. The unsoldering tips are on the large side for what I do, but the smallest one has been handy. I like that you can set down the unsoldering wand in its bracket and it shuts itself off. It has made a huge difference in my rework capability. The tip hardware is not that great, but that's a minor issue. I can replace them with better stainless hardware if needed. There's also no place to store them on-board.

The soldering side works fine and it comes with a variety of tips that cover all of my needs and then some. The sleep feature is nice to have also, and the tip reheats quickly when you pick it up again. The soldering iron doesn't have great ergonomics compared to the Weller, so I probably won't use it as much. Tip storage is not ideal, as the holes in the soldering iron base for tips are too small, and the tips want to tip out. I'll probably drill out those holes so they fit the tips better, and add a strip of brass or aluminum under the top to support them from below so they don't drop through the top.

Assuming that this holds up well over time, it's a great value and is certainly well-made. I look forward to using it for many years.
