I have to say I was hesitant about buying these, I'd been look at them for months and finally just went for it. I am so happy I did! I can't believe the difference it has made to my couch. The seats feel firm and supportive again, not saggy and smooshed. Don't doubt them try them, you won't be disappointed. When I lie on my couch it feels like when it was new. It also looks so much better with the cushions sitting where they belong. I have a large oversized couch and this size works perfectly. I've even ordered a second set for my other couch.

A lifesaver for an older sofa with 1 or 2 box springs beginning to sag!
I have a Lane custom-upholstered sofa that is 35 years old with fabric that is in perfect condition. I recently re-foamed the 3 cushions which helped a lot, but I could tell that just ONE of the multiple box springs on a side that I frequently use was sagging a bit after 35 years. It was just the ONE box spring - all the others were perfect and I looked to see if there was a solution. I looked at how this product fits along the bottom of the sofa - above the box springs area. It looked like it would be perfect to resolve the issue with the ONE sagging box spring. It was! The boards create a hard surface right above the box springs so that if any of the box springs anywhere along the length are sagging, this will prevent those box springs from sagging! The hard surface it creates beneath the seat cushions does NOT prevent the springs from working. When you are seated, the boards distribute the weight evenly along the surface which then depresses multiple box springs instead of just 1 or 2 which have lost their "spring". What a great idea! Important to note: With this product, your box springs still do their job and support your weight comfortably! If you have sagging box springs anywhere underneath your sofa cushions, this product will work! Be sure to measure as I did and you will love these too!
