Much smaller diameter than advertised.
It's P-Tex, but the diameter is way smaller than traditional .59" diameter P-Tex candles advertised in the description. The tiny sticks I received are less than half that diameter, measuring in at less than 1/4 inch. The smaller size aren't good for fixing larger gouges and make it harder to control the speed of the drip and scrape off the carbon buildup while using. Doesn't feel good at all to get less than I paid for.

    Although it it is smaller than other ptex sticks out there it definitely does the job and does it well. If you know what you're doing you can minimize the oxidation and inturn you will have less black particles when using the clear sticks. For me if I'm less worried about what my base looks like and more how it performs.

    Black is harder and more durable . Clear looks good but try to keep flame blue because yellow flame will cause carbon residue in repair. Black is just black and easier to control flow.

    Product filled the nicks and cuts in my skis. It seems to have bonded well to the other plastic. Hopefully it will hold up when I go skiing in December. I'm 6' 3" tall at about 250 Lbs. so I'll put it to the test for sure. Hopefully I remember to update the review. I'm sure if it fails, you'll know about it. If it works, probably won't hear anymore from me. More expensive than it should be for some HDPE sticks, but material prices were crazy after Covid and these were some of the most reasonably priced ones at the time.
