Great poems with great phrases. Soulful writing. If it’s possible to really know someone through their writing I would say that I would love to have this person as a friend. Sentimental and deep, dreamy and bittersweet.

Follow author on Instagram and decided to buy all three of these books. Beautiful, reflective poetry, thought provoking. Often made me have to sit and reflect about what I just read. I am not good at reviewing writing like this. If you want to see how he writes before purchasing his books, I suggest going to his Instagram page, where he posts his poetry. It will draw you in.

If you haven't read the haunted earthy poetry of Jarod Anderson poetry it will make you muse about your place in this world and many other earthy and resonant themes. "The Cryptonaturalist" considers things in different and useful ways. The perspective of the duff on the forest floor and our oneness with various aspects of death nature and beyond. For me it resonates and it's on my buy now list!

This writer takes the feelings of the soul & puts them into words we understand.
I'm so glad he continues to write.

Haunting. Deep. Gorgeous. As always sentences that stop me in my tracks and leave me in awe are in every poem.

Excellent reading! Complex thoughts and ideas distilled using familiar and relateable scenes. An artistic approach to the wild in wildlife. Clarity of thought is highly enjoyable. Well grounded in mystery, too, so rereading brings more joy.

5.0 out of 5 stars The sort of book you carry with you.
Reviewed in Canada on September 14, 2022
Two of my goals this year are to read more poetry and to deepen my connection with nature. While it wasn't a conscious connection on my part, this book ticks both of those boxes. This is the sort of book I will carry with me and read whenever I have a spare moment. The sort of poetry I will quote to friends and strangers alike. It is indeed haunting and magical and wonderful and thought-provoking. I look forward to reading "Love Notes from the Hollow Tree".

If I were able to write poetry, I'd write this. The author puts words to what I feel somewhere deep in my soul.

This was just such a little surprise. I've seen a couple of his poems online so I had an idea of his style of writing. Every one was a little thought that made me skew my thinking about myself and my connection to the world. I tried not to rush, to just read one at a time and it feels like I will take this off the shelf every autumn and start every day with a little nugget of thought that will make me smile, or think or wonder. Just beautiful!
