Great Parallax Slide for the Money AND the scale numbering goes in the right direction
The 200mm nodal slide I purchased previously was too long when used with a Tokina 11-16 zoom at 11mm, in portrait orientation. The end of the slide was in the FOV. This 140mm slide is well build and just the right length. In my case the built in bubble was pretty close. Additionally, as another reviewer mentioned, this slide starts the scale numbering, zero at the camera clamp end which just makes sense when indexing parallax point(s) for a lens. Funny, I only found two or three slides that has the scale in the sensible/correct direction, this one, Leofoto and certain RRS (like the one this was patterned after).

This functioned well and fit/finish were very good. However, it was too short for me to balance my full frame DSLR in a gimbal head. So I returned it and ordered a longer one.

This was an excellent value compared to any established photography brand (RRS prices are insane—and yes, I have paid them and the quality is amazing). I don’t plan to use it a lot but expect that it would stand up to harsh use.

For the $21.00 a great buy if you don't have an RRS BH-55 QR Lever head as it's not 100% tight but for any other head that used a turn lock this is a MUST BUY! What a bargain! Very high quality but not RRS quality BUT $120 less it's well worth it.

The level is ok not as good as it should be bot again for $21 that's what the RRS bubble cost to make, well maybe not but my point if your looking for a pano rail this is it!

This slider beat my expectations in materials and craftmanship for the price. I am quite happy with the purchase.
However, any new buyers need to be aware of what lens they are going to pair with this slider. I discovered that acting as a nodal slider, it wasn't long enough for one of my lenses. Pairing this slider with a Z7ii + FTZ + Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 G2, the nodal point on that lens, which is quite tall when stood up, is beyond the maximum length this slider will allow. I see that there exists a 200mm slider version which for applications of that type should be used instead. I ordered th 200mm version as well and will use it for a nodal slider on that 15-30mm and as a gimbal slider on the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8. If you only want a single slider, the longer version might be a better fit.

This rail is very well made with good quality materials. It is very simple and does not have what you do not need. 140mm is also the most useful length for most middle and wide focal distance lenses. Longer slides (200mm) may block your lens field of view.
Quality and construction of this slide approaches quality of stuff you can buy from RRS. I have tried (and returned) nodal slides from Neewer and their quality and construction cannot match this slide - ArcaSwiss clamp on those was really poorly made. The nodal distance on this slide is correctly measured from the camera clamp, on most Chinese rails it is measured from the other end of the rail for some unknown reason. This rail also has thinner profile than most Chinese ones.

A good no parallax slide rail for wide to short telephoto lenses. A great value for a fraction of other rails on the market. Works great for my Sony a7R IV mounted with an 18mm, a 24mm, a 35mm or a 55mm primes. Will work with a 85mm as well. Recommend.

+ Well built. Strong, but relatively thin and light.
+ All the features you need (a clamp, a dovetail, and two stopper screws on the bottom) and none that you don't.
+ 140mm is just the right length for "ordinary" lenses (everything except ultra-wides and super-teles).

+++ BONUS +++ The numbered scale puts zero at the camera end of the rail and increases as you move away from the camera. Hence, a bigger number means that the nodal point (diaphragm) is further way from the film plane (image sensor). Bingo! That's the way it's supposed to be. (Almost all the other Chinese rails get this backwards.)
