This worked quite well and for the price, it lasted a long time. I work on electronics as a hobby so I don't need to have a lot of flux around. This worked fine for both de-soldering and new soldering. I would buy it again.

I am an amateur solderer. When doing research on my new hobby, people recommended Chip Quik. A pen style flux is easy to use and control. However, the tip gets worn very easily, which hinders proper flux application.

Aside from that, I like that it's lead free. Customer service is really good. I emailed them about the worn tips and they sent me some replacements. Very nice of them. I'm considering buying their syringe style flux because of their good customer service.

This pen was pretty convenient when I was doing some quick soldering, however after a time I found myself just going back to my old wax consistency flux as it was much more comforting knowing that joints were properly fluxed. The pen seemed like it just didn't get as much flux out as I would have liked it to when I was really trying to perfect my joints.

Another issue, as you will see from other comments is that the tip gets frayed really easily as you use it, which makes it harder to get flux where you want it.

I personally wouldn't buy this pen again, but it is nice to have now that I already have it. But my opinion would be for people to just use what they are used to over this.

I've been preaching the liquid flux game for a long long time, and have turned many a solder sucker into solder gods. But like many, I hate the cleanup or wasted mess that it creates when you just need something direct or on something not as accessible as a loose item.
TADA!!! In comes the flux pen! It was a nice thing to see it comes with a n extra felt replacement tip as well in the event the old one gets dried out or destroyed otherwise. I will buy this again. For the price and quantity as well as the quality, you cannot go wrong with this deal!

Easy to use Makes resoldering solder flow like water following flux...excellent results..Had to use for an emergency circuit board and 5 chips for a Robotic Surgical Machine and during a 7 hour kidney transplant..Surgery was in progress when it lost use of 2 directions on one of the beams (arms) resoldered using this flux making fast work out of. Este tipo de flux es el mas rápido y facil de usar por venir en un formato tipo rotulador.

No has de estar con la pequeña brocha echándolo en las partes donde has de trabajar con el soldador y estaño, con este basta acercarlo y dar un par de toques para que el flux salga por la punta inundando solo la parte que tu deseas que tenga flux.

En cuanto a calidad de este no es igual al pequeño bote de cristal con brocha JB* que todos conocemos pero cumple con su función muy correctamente, hacer que el estaño se funda con rapidez y sin quedarse una soldadura fría.

Ich habe den Flux-Pen verwendet, um Lötverbindungen herzustellen und bin sehr zufrieden mit seiner Leistung. Der Pen ist sehr einfach zu verwenden und die Spitze ermöglicht eine präzise Anwendung des Flusses auf die Lötstellen.

Das No-Clean-Flussmittel ist sehr effektiv und hilft dabei, Oxidation auf der Oberfläche der Lötstellen zu reduzieren und somit eine bessere Verbindung zu ermöglichen. Nach dem Löten lässt sich das Flussmittel leicht entfernen und hinterlässt keine Rückstände.

Die Größe des Pens ist auch sehr praktisch, da er einfach zu lagern und zu transportieren ist. Ich habe ihn auf verschiedene Baustellen mitgenommen und er hat immer gut funktioniert.

Der einzige Nachteil des Pens ist, dass er relativ schnell leer ist, besonders wenn Sie ihn für größere Lötprojekte verwenden. Wenn Sie ihn jedoch für kleinere Projekte oder für den persönlichen Gebrauch verwenden, wird er für eine lange Zeit ausreichend sein.
