Simply use the tweezers and the letter set to create your customized personal message on your stamp. The Trodat DIY stamp offers a high degree of flexibility to change your message as needed.

Push Stamp Down and Lock

Push Stamp Down and Lock

Press the stamp down and push the button on the back to the right to lock the position.

Start Placing Your Message

Flip the stamp upside down, making sure the arrows are pointing up. Using the tweezers, take your desired character and start creating your message.

Release Lock and Insert Ink Cartridge

Release the lock button and insert ink cartridge.

Just Press and Print

Your Trodat DIY stamp is ready to go. Just press and print to stamp your brand new impression.

How to Replace Your Ink Cartridge

Lightly press down on your stamp until the ink pad in the back side is completely visible. While lightly pressing, grab the finger tabs to remove the old pad. Insert the new pad with the inked area facing down.

I don't normally write reviews immediately, but this one warranted an immediate response. I needed a stamp for several different reasons, and not only did it miraculously arrive less than 24 hours after I ordered it but it was so easy to use. The only issue I could potentially see is that the letters are very tiny, so you will 100% be needing to use the tweezers they come with, and hopefully you have a good eye so you don't mistake one letter for another. Also the ink will only stick cleanly to paper, and on any shiny surface will take much longer to dry and may not permanently stick to the surface unless you have a way to seal it after it's dry. I will come back and update this if it happens to crap out on me or the ink dries up too quickly or something, so if you're seeing this as is then everything is all good!

This is really close to a Courier New type of font. It's also incredibly easy to put your own stamp together. I've been using it for well over a month now, every weekday, and it's held up nicely. The letters don't shift, they don't fall out, they line up beautifully, and it comes with at least three of each letter, with the more common letters having quite a few more copies. Highly recommend if you need a custom stamp but don't want to spend the customization money.

 I bought this as a quick and dirty way to mark my pedals, however the ink even after a full 24 hours to dry just wipes right off. I am actually glad it didn’t leave traces as promised. I assume only applies to paper. I just wish the listing was more clear. The instructions are only in Dutch or German so even if it does mention it somewhere I wouldn’t know. Otherwise I realize this isn’t the intended use so I only took off one star for no instructions in English.
