My idea of short must be pretty short because this is the longest I have ever had a set of nails on. I even tried to file some off but with the design they are still long for me. Kinda plain so I ended up adding a red french with more sparkle. I do like the gel glue tabs. Shape of nail is nice and fit is pretty good.
