Ok so lemme explain why I’m giving it 2 stars…First of all I bought this book a while back and started reading it on a road trip, immediately the pages began to literally FALL OFF!! I was obviously upset and mad bc the book wasn’t cheap but 1. I couldn’t return it as I was on vacation and 2. I had already written on it 😪. So that leads us to 4 stars.Next thing I didn’t like was the writing style… yeah I get the book was firstly published on Wattpad but I still had high expectations as I heard it was a good book! Keep in mind I never read it on wattpad so yeah my expectations were high. Anyways going back to the style, I started the book a while back but unfortunately couldn’t finish it, I got a BAD reading slump bc of how dragged and unnecessary some scenes were. I was honestly bored reading the book. I had to finish the book literally by force bc I just wanted to get over with it and got tired of just seeing it unfinished. So that’s 3 stars.Next the storyline, it was just TOO unrealistic, like some stuff just didn’t make sense 💀 like yeah I get it’s a mafia book and all and it’s supposed to be unrealistic, but some scenes were just too much… umm the ending was well… cliffhanger right. I felt like the ending very confusing, like it could’ve been a bit more specific. Ironic huh, some scenes were so specific but when I needed it to be specific, it wasn’t 💔 . Overall I felt like the story was dragged on and very repetitive. Lastly , the main characters (Aria and Ace) could’ve had better development. And also there was too many characters, I understand that there was 2 different families but it was very hard and confusing to remember who was who.And yeah that leaves us at 2 stars. Honestly the only BIG issue I had was my pages coming literally off. I literally cried because of it 😭 bc I treat every book I have like my babies so the book falling apart was upsetting💔 and it wasn’t like 1 page or 2, it’s literally like EVERY page but I would just shove them in the book so it would stay in order.Definitely would’ve returned and exchanged it for another if I wouldn’t have began reading it during my road trip😪Anyways at the end of the day, I still like the book and will most definitely be buying the next book of the series. And I just want to say that with this review I’m not trying to come off rude or mean, I’m just trying to give back real criticism for the author in order to help them improve and better their next book!! ❤️To author: Good job in making your first published book!
