Poetry & Short Stories: Vol.1 (Volumes (Short Stories & Poetry)) Kindle Edition
Includes the first chapter of Big Noise, J.P.'s second book, and Big Noise short story.
Sample from Sirens, one of the poems in Vol.1
I hear other people crying, whimpering, and praying
I see the fear and the pain
But does it compare to the heartache of those who still live?
And I wonder, oh I wonder
Will they ever come for me?

About the author
J.P. Biddlecome asked for a typewriter for his seventh birthday, illustrating how his writing interests began from a young age. His first writings were journal entries, which grew in creativity as he changed to short stories. He wrote his first full manuscript when he was 11, a story he called Alternate World. He published two books in 2019, two more in 2020. and is still releasing new works each year. When he isn't writing, J.P. Biddlecome can be found studying at Oregon State University, going on outdoor adventures, or being an average, Southern Oregon redneck.

Darkness Deep and The Song of the Pebble were two of my favorites of the text. I also liked Wings of a Goldfinch. Some of the poems weren't of my literary taste, but I still enjoyed the read nonetheless. J.P. is a newer author and I'm sure I will enjoy his other works when I check them out and new publications as they are released.
