If your here reading this it’s likely you have issues with worms. It may be too late to save your crop. Usually, unless you know about these pests, they have become well established in your plant(s) and have already wreaked havoc. As an experienced outdoor grower here are some tips. Lets start at the beginning... Keep your plants pruned and free of all dead and starting to die matter, ie yellow leaves. Continuously remove all the fan leaves after the plant has matured, leaving only a few where the buds will soon start appearing. This way, it will be easier to monitor for pests and the plant will be sending all nutrients to the flowering buds. I always water in the morning at first light and I give my plants a good quick, sharp shake to see what flys off. I also look 👀 closely to see if I see any telltale black droppings on the leaves as the buds appear. If I do, usually after the buds are well established, I check around the area thoroughly. Usually, they are hiding inside the bud and already 1/2 to 1 inch long. They grow extremely fast and if u see one there are likely more lurking around. However, if u have sprayed, they are going to die. If not, there may be time. Remove any u find and if there are only a few u have time to save your plant. Pull every bud, gently, apart and look down in there every day until you receive this product. For best results, here in central California, I start spraying once a week after I see the first little white hairs appear on the buds. I always spray at least an hour or two before the sun hits them so they don’t get burned. The first application, I literally drench them, making sure to get down into the center of the bud. Then after I clean my sprayer I go back and give them all a good shake and even whack the big buds with my hand to get the excess liquid off. Then once a week a less heavy application until a week before harvest although u can go all the way up until the day of. It has a very light scent when mixed, slightly opaque. Once dry, I can’t smell anything but bud. Make sure you keep the product cool. Label says loses potential if it gets above 90 degrees. Bad for people in Phoenix, lol. It could be 150 degrees in your mailbox. Best to order, taking temperature during shipping into consideration. The other popular pest for me is spider mites. I use Grow-Safe- developed in Israel for medical marijuana. It works great too. If u use these two products from the start your success rate will greatly improve and 90% of the pests will be avoided.

I grow much of our own food and try to do so as organically as possible. Earlier this year we were hit by a very nasty worm that was eating every single one of our broccoli and cauliflower plants. I was devastated. I had raised them from seed and to watch them being eaten a little more each day was tearing my heart straight out of my chest. A friend suggested I try this because she knew I don't use chemicals on my yard or in my garden. I have small grandchildren who like to visit and pull things straight off the bush or vine and eat them while we work in the garden together. I also have free range chickens and dogs and cats and bunnies who partake of goodies from our garden sometimes while it is still attached to the plant. I didn't want to risk the safety of those counting on me to keep them safe. So finding something that was human and pet friendly was difficult to say the least. I bought this thinking that it might work it might not but I was desperate for anything that might help.

It not only helped it surpassed what I expected. I had used DE last year in our garden with a lot of success. DE kills anything with an exoskeleton pretty much and is used by our locals farmers as a micro wormer and duster for their lifestock. But caterpillars were a whole different animal all together. I mixed this with some neem oil concentrate I already had and sprayed my plants. My Broccoli, my cauliflower, my peppers, my tomatoes, my roses, and my berry bushes. It did far more than I ever would have thought possible. I have even sprayed it and the wind carried it back into the faces of my chickens with no ill effects. I am very impressed with this product and will be laying in a supply for future gardening use. I also learned that it treats the dreaded Japanese beetle in the larva stage. They burrow deep in the ground to lay their eggs and as they hatch the go towards the plants in your garden until the come out full grown and ready to consume anything in their path. I have treated my rose bushes which the beetles where feasting on with this product with the neem oil mixed in (this is a concentrate 1.5 ounces makes 3 gallons) along with dusting with my DE and my beetle problem is solved. I have to retreat after it rains because the rain washes it off the leaves but I am very happy with this product and the end result which is a pest free yard and safe environment for our my grandchildren and my pets.

The woman who recommended this said she treated her tomatoes with it every year with great success. I have noticed my tomatoes are looking better than ever since I started using this product am not sure if it the organic nutrients in this product or the fact that are no longer attack from tomato worms but either way well worth the money spent. I give this product two thumbs up and I am a very picky consumer when it comes to my garden and the safety of my environment. A great organic choice well worth the money spent.

Just a little goes a long way. Spay a diluted amount on the leaves. When the caterpillars eat it, they quit eating and starve. Harmless to us. Broccoli, kale, cabbage, the base of squash, etc. Application last about 5 days.

I've used this product for years, but have always purchased at a nursery. It's never smelled like this before! (It smells like the wolf urine products used for keeping rabbits away!) There is no use-by date, so I'm not sure if it smells because it's old, or the formula changed. Anyway, if one can get past the smell, it does work great!

Wow, I had some green caterpillars eating the plants on my small balcony. They would eat at night and I couldn't figure out what was eating my plants. I thought maybe it was earwigs at first, but I never saw any, and I'd looked in their usual hiding places - under cardboard, etc. I finally saw a couple caterpillars really early one morning.

I only used this product early one evening, and then only because I had some left that was mixed up and it said to use it up quickly, I also sprayed the next morning - some of the plants.

It's been over a week and I have not seen any more indication of eating on my plants - yay! Often the organic pest management solution requires a lot of applications, and is a hassle and not very effective. But, this stuff is amazing.

The container is small, but you only need something like 3 tablespoons per gallon of water. I am too lazy to look it up, but that's my memory. So, it's cheap to administer. And it works the first time.

And you can eat the plants right after administering this product - it's completely safe for humans. It's a bacteria that will kill caterpillars when they eat it. Which, you also need to understand - the caterpillars need to eat the plant leaves that are covered with this, in order to die. So, you want to leave it on the plant. Don't wash it off.

And sunshine can ruin the product on the plants, so you need to apply at dusk or dawn, and it works best on a cloudy day.

Regardless of price, this really is the product to buy for caterpillars in the garden. And, the price is very reasonable, when you consider you can spray the plants and then eat veggies, peas, etc., the same day you treated the plant. It's safe for humans and animals to eat. Because of all of the above, this is just and amazing product and I'm thrilled I found it.

I've used mosquito bits for fungus gnats, which is a different strain of BT, and that works pretty well, but nothing like this product, made specifically to treat caterpillars. You can buy it with confidence it will really do the job like a miracle, and be able to eat the fruit, plant, etc., without worrying about ingesting harmful chemicals. I just really am thrilled to have found this product.

This was brilliant for my brassicas. Not a single caterpillar in sight! I had to apply it once a week, because it rained very often this summer. But I'm very pleased with it!
