Inspired by my clinical work with survivor-victims of narcissistic abuse since 2013, this growth book is filled with growth activities, reflection pages, handouts for friends and family, and more, including the Shark Detector! I know that it will help you along your soul-mending journey!
 
About the companion book:
 
Swimming with Sharks: Surviving Narcissist-Infested Waters is the culmination of ten years of work as a psychotherapist and three years of writing. This book is filled with the best of what I do as a therapist for survivor-victims of narcissistic abuse. I intentionally wrote it to be easy to read and specifically wanted it to be colorful and filled with images so that an overwhelming topic wouldn't be quite so overwhelming to read. One other important aspect was the ability to read the book without the narcissist in your life knowing that you're reading about narcissists. For that reason, if you purchase the hardcover and remove the dust jacket, the title only reads, "Swimming with Sharks," and does not have the word "narcissist" anywhere on the cover. The narcissist in your life will likely assume you're reading a novel about people who are willing to risk swimming with actual sharks.
