My goodness I am single and definitely can’t wait to experience black love myself. Thank you for your artistry🥰🥰🥰🌺🌸🌺
We pick up right where we left off with these two. Luchi is back and still getting divorced and Mal is right there supporting her through it all.
I'm not sure why but this book was more emotional than I expected. I thought we'd be at the HEA and just experience them loving on each other, and while that's definitely present, Shameka painted a very vivid picture of healing from heartbreak while falling in love at the same time. That's complicated.
Luchi and Mal were getting it in, so much that at one point I was nervous that their physical relationship would overshadow their emotional connection. Thankfully that wasn't the case.
My favorite part of this book was Couples Therapy. Mal was hesitant but his love for Luchi overpowered that. They learned so much about themselves within their relationship and they BOTH put in the work.
To see Luchi being loved and supported out loud by Mal was great but expected. Luchi's love for Mal though, that was special. Once she got over her fear of pushing him away with her emotions she leaned in to being his Pooh. She made a home for him. forced him to rest, became the safe space that he needed. I enjoyed the Malik/Sienna side story as well and I'm definitely looking forward to Tamika's book!
