This is an amazing compact small simple rice cooker. Just one simple function… press cook. The best part it’s stainless steal. No more toxic nonstick coating. Can’t believe all the crazy negative reviews… mine works perfect everytime. Great tasting rice with the perfect consistency. Easy to wash clean. After every use all I do is pour hot water w dish soap& let it sit for a couple of min until I’m ready to wash clean. Have no difficulty everytime. Again not sure why the negative reviews on cleaning the pot. It’s just common sense. The only con is that I should have purchased the bigger size. I eat rice regularly so with the 3 cup I have to cook rice more often.

& let it sit for a couple of min until I’m ready to wash clean. Have no difficulty everytime. Again not sure why the negative reviews on cleaning the pot. It’s just common sense. The only con is that I should have purchased the bigger size. I eat rice regularly so with the 3 cup I have to cook rice more often.

I got tired of buying Aroma Teflon non-stick rice cookers only to see the coating flake off in a year or two and expose our rice to bare aluminum which is linked Alzheimer's disease. This stainless steel model is heavier and has the feel of quality. The on-off lever feels solid and the lights are bright. The rice is slightly hard on the bottom, where it touches the stainless steel pan, after cooking. It will soften if the unit is unplugged right after the cooking finishes and the "warm" light goes on. At this point, leave the lid on and the rice will soften about 75% in the next 10-fifteen minutes before serving. The serving spoon is shaped to match the curves of the pot. I recommend this rice cooker.

The first pro of this rice cooker is the stainless steel inner pot. Very easy to cook rice. There is only one switch so no matter how bad you are at cooking you can cook rice in this. Cooks rice evenly,it takes almost half an hour to cook, considering the outcome it is ok. And now for cons, the boiling water splatters around the cooker and on to the floor through the steam venting hole on the lid. And also the rice gets stuck to the bottom of the pot. It happens every time. The more you keep the Tice in keep warm the more it sticks. But I am willing to take it. It cooks rice good

This is not a fancy rice cooker with a lot of features. And I've taken to always adding some form of oil or butter when I cook with it. But I love the stainless steel over aluminum or chemical coated type pans. I grind up in my coffee mill whole corn, whole wheat, whole oat groats, and put them in this rice cooker for my breakfast hot cereal. One at a time of course. It works super fast with a 3:1 water to cereal racial. And it's wonderful with rice, both White come and brown. And this thing was relatively cheap!

I have really love this little rice cooker. The inner pot it Stainless steel (a priority for me) and is smooth without any sharp edges. It and the glass lid are sturdy, light, and easily washed by hand (with non scratching scotch-brite pad) or dishwasher. I’ve left both soaked in the sink and then wash in the dishwasher with regular detergent for countless times and both have come out cleaned and shiny without any tarnish. The outer pot wipes down easy. It is a perfect size for my family of 3; max of ~2 cup uncooked rice. The controls are very simple: warm and cook. You have to plug-in and unplug in order to ‘turn’ it on and off respectively, which may be a negative but it hasn’t been a problem for me. It does automatically goes from cook to warm when done. A pot of rice takes about 15-20 minutes and has been perfectly cooked every time. It has not burn on warm but there’s not been reason to leave it on warm for long periods of time since it cooks so quickly that I start the pot at the beginning of meal prep and ‘turn it off/unplug’ at serving time.
Of note, this cooker is not for cooking the sticky sweet rice and I learned this the hard way. Mine is still working as of 3 years and I bought this second one to have a second stainless steel pot and lid.
Overall, definitely a great appliance that makes my life easier and that I use often.

6 cup rice cooker with stainless steel bowl. The rice cooker works great somewhat. I like sticky rice and in order to achieve that you add more water then normal, but with this one it doesn't work, because the breather hole in the lid is to big letting out to much of the steam.
Luckily I had my old rice cooker lid with a smaller hole that fit and now it makes great sticky rice.

It just works. Easy to clean. You can unscrew the lid handle if it gets funky under there.

It's stainless steel and it just works. No fancy bells or whistles -- it cooks and it warms and it works for me (single person). No fancy shenanigans also means fewer points of failure.

For me, rice is life, and this rice cooker is a solid foundation to build upon. I'm necessarily frugal and I want reliability; this thing delivers. 10/10

The cooker outer shell had a stain mark though. The packaging was really nice. So far I have just unpacked and used it once - used 4 cups of Tilda basmati rice & 5 cups of water (so that the rice is a bit soft). And rice cooked really nice. I’m a perfectionist in terms of any purchase it’s hard to convince me, I keep returning things as long as it’s not up to my expectations and research. And this Rice cooker is worth every penny ( I bought it for $61), as the inner pot is stainless steel which is a healthier option to the nonstick ones. Hope this review helps.

Update:
Have used 3/4 times a week for 3 months now. Works great, worth every penny. The stainless steel pot works as a storage pot too - I cook rice in it, once the rice is cooked down, I store this with the lid on in the refrigerator and this pot works great. Easy to clean up the remaining rice from pot before next cooking. Highly recommend and for sure worth every penny!

The product is from US and works for ~100V supply, so you need a separate adapter for it if you want to use it in NL.

J'ai demandé le retour du produit, mais il faut que je l'envoie à mes frais à Las Vegas. Coût : environ 55 euros, soit la moitié du prix de l'objet !!! Et comme je ne suis pas sûr de me voir rembourser ces frais d'expédition, voilà une excellente affaire !
