Step 2: Select the pressing die to match the crimping terminal and tight the dies with the crimper. |
Step 3: Put the connecting terminal into the tool head, operate the movable handle and start pressing. |
Step 4: Loosen the oil return switch and the piston is automatically reset. |

One size down for selterm ring terminals
First time using this crimper. Already crimped my lugs according to the manual for 2 gage high strand welding cable. I had cut the barrel off a lug so that I can see the inside of the crimp as I go. Was looking pretty good BUT... I was able to pull the cable out and had to crimp all my cables again using #25 for 1 gage cable instead . See the pics for the first crimp using the suggested #35 for 2 gage, then the 2nd crimp using #25 for 1 gage for all my 2 gage cables
