This was such a great funny read! I got so lost in the book captured with Jessie and the shenanigans that she has to deal with it. I absolutely loved this installment and I can’t wait to see what happens next with Jessie and the crew. I want to spill the beans but trust me it’s worth the read!! The challenges Jessie had to overcome were so good!! This book was unputdownable! I highly recommend this series!!

This is what I imagine the adult version of Harry Potter to be. There are enemies coming after Jessie (Harry) and her team. There is a battle at the end of each book. We get some romance. Our heroine is capable but has no clue of her true capabilities. There are the faithful friends who willingly fight when called upon. Obviously, there is magic. Best of all, there is a whole cast of highly eccentric characters! What's not to love?!

I love this world and these characters. This might not be my favorite of the series, but I enjoyed it all the same. It has been a while since I read the others, and I am diving back in without a refresher of the world. It didn't seem to matter. I laughed out loud several times. The banter was from some different characters than we have seen, and it was nice to have some focus shift. There was a lot more of the mating bond interactions this time, so if that isn't your thing, you have been warned. I needed a funny read, and this fit the bill. Serious things are building and coming, but this found family seems to be handling it all in stride.
