    I really enjoyed reading The Lost Son. As a alumna of Ole Miss and an Oxford native, I found the local references to be fun and interesting as the intriguing plot unveiled. It was a read that was hard to put down! I was able through family connections to have my copy signed by the author. I will cherish this book for years to come, and I look forward to the next project this author produces.

    This book is well paced, and the author is very detailed. It has a good action plot, but there are certain chapters that were emotional and tugged at my heartstrings for Pheonix. He's on his own journey while dealing with all these outside forces. Definitely recommend for adventure lovers!

    The way that James Ungurait paints the scenes of his book by use of his words is outstanding. From the very beginning you are with Phoenix every step of the way. Not only are you hooked from the start, you truly feel a part of the story.

    This was about a college student and his adventure, insecurities and future. It went well enough with lots of potential. I wish that the characters were more dimensional and that the story was more developed.
    I had a hard time stretching my imagination to make some of the jumps to this conclusion. The author has potential and I think he has a great idea. I’d like to see more with the romance. I hope this was helpful.

    The way James Unguat writes is captivating from the beginning and you just want to keep reading and reading and not stop. It is both descriptive and has great world building (important for a fantasy) but also is interesting and is filled with mystery/suspense throughout . There is just no way that you can find the right spot to set the book down. You just h no way you can read it in one setting, unless you pull an all nighter and then you still want to keep reading as you know there's more to the story than the author has let us know. And once I reached the end I desperately want to read another novel in the collection. How long would I have to hold my breath before I can get my hands on another novel in the series? I so wanted more!! Honestly the ending of this particular segment was absolutely amazing! Be prepared the ending is going to totally throws you for a twist! I received this novel from NetGalley. This is my true and honest review.
