Scorned Obsession (Scorned Fate) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 1,239 ratings

It’s when her obsession for him vanishes that he becomes desperate to have it back.

Bianca De Lucci has always been obsessed with Sandro Rossi.
He was the hero of her girlish dreams.
And the dream man of her adolescence.
But no matter how much she showed him she wanted more,
he always treated her like a younger sister.

In one tragic night, she pushes her obsession too far and someone dear to her pays the price.
Sandro becomes the enemy, and she wishes for him to burn in hell like the rest of his family.

Sandro Rossi has too much blood on his hands.
Hands undeserving to touch Bianca’s goodness and light.
But when he shatters her heart, instead of freeing her from her obsession, he extinguishes her light.
A light that he realizes has become his addiction.

Now he will lie, cheat, steal, and, yes, fight like hell to win it back.

Love a good mafia romance!

Love a good mafia romance!
Another new to me author that I’ll definitely be reading more of! Victoria Paige knows how to write an obsessed MMC, but also deliver an obsessed FMC in this book. Also, give me mafia romance all day every day.Bianca has been in love with Sandro since she was 5 years old. Love has taken on different forms throughout the years, but her obsession with him has always grown. Sandro has always had a soft spot for Bianca before he discovered his feelings for her. Then he only had obsessive stalker tendencies.. Once they finally get together it’s under horrible circumstances && Bianca is determined not to be in love with him anymore because of it. Sandro’s best bet is to win her love back because it’s always been her.Lots of elements && tropes I really liked in this book! Obsessive characters, mafia, rival families, forced proximity, childhood friends, “mine” && many more. Definitely gonna be reading more of this series!

My only regret after finishing this book is that I wish I hadn't read it yet so that I could read and experience everything again from the start. 🥹

Scorned Obsession is EVERYTHING AND MORE - intense, action-packed, captivating, entertaining and emotional. From the eye-catching cover that fits the story perfectly, to the last page in the book, the author absolutely nailed it!

The very first sentence, "Lose the boyfriend", grabbed my attention and holy heck, to say I was breathless after those first 4 - 5 chapters, is an understatement. It's just one of those books that no matter if it was 5 pages or 5000 pages, you can't stop reading until the end. (And for someone like me who hardly has time to read, I was surprised by the number of pages in this book - only realizing once I sat down to write this review. 😅)

I'd describe the hero, 𝕊𝔸ℕ𝔻ℝ𝕆, as 𝒔𝒆𝒙𝒚, 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒈𝒆, all in a good way. The heroine, 𝔹𝕀𝔸ℕℂ𝔸, is 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 (𝒔𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒍𝒚) 𝒑𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒄. They are perfectly matched and the chemistry between them is off the charts.

I must point out that although there is 𝑵𝑶 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, there is OW as well as OM drama. And whereas the OW drama had me gnashing my teeth, wanting to smack a b!tch upside the head, the OM drama made for some very entertaining reading - Sandro is the epitome of a jealous-possessive hero. 😏

Being a mafia romance, there are slightly darker elements but it is very well written - just enough to evoke emotion without pushing the reader over the edge.

One of my favorite things about this story is that it left me feeling satisfied, content if you will. The pacing is flawless with no scenes dragging on or rushed and by the end, nothing was left unanswered. *🅷🅰🅿🅿🆈 🆂🅸🅶🅷* 😍

I 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒚 recommend 𝕊𝕔𝕠𝕣𝕟𝕖𝕕 𝕆𝕓𝕤𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟 to anyone who enjoys reading mafia romance and/or jealous-possessive-obsessive romance.

    𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕥𝕤:
    🌻 Mafia Romance
    🌻 Mutual St@lking/Obsession
🌻 Action-Packed (with slightly darker elements)
🌻 Friends to Enemies to Lovers
🌻 Dual POV (also has a “bonus pov” from a different character)
    🌻 JP Hero
    🌻 Touch her and ☠️
🌻 OW & OM Drama (𝙉𝙊 cheating)
🌻 Standalone with HEA and epilogue (standalone within a series)

It was better then the first book I read in this series.

I actually liked both MC's in this book.

The only thing...Bianca cried too much 😭 like seriously everything and everyone made her cry 😭

Overall it was a good story and somewhat steady paced. A little predictable, but not annoyingly so.

I absolutely love this series (including the standalone book of Cesar + Ava's story). The ongoing storyline / plots is so well written & riveting. All the characters are interesting & mesmerizing in their relationships. Which is saying something because I rarely seek out mafia / bratva / mob tropes...unless they're written as amazingly as Victoria Paige has done.
I have been looking forward to Xander + Bianca's story for a long time.
I enjoy an age gap (about10 yrs) / sacrifice his own wants for her safety, possibly Dexter-like killer, but willing to do anything for her smile alpha male. Sandro's vulnerability came through when his terrible childhood is confessed to Bianca.
Bianca could have turned out to be self centered & entitled with her privileged surroundings. However, she was sweet &, due to her older brothers, she could stand up for herself.
They way their backstory was written was absolutely perfect. I didn't have to slog through endless chapters; there was a couple chapters & memory flashbacks that in no way skimped on their history. But I strong recommend that you start this series from book 1, in fact, start with Cesar + Ava's story. Immerse yourself into this absolutely riveting world from the beginning; you will enjoy it!!!
Ps: Could we get a family tree of all the Families?
Pss: it would be nice to have a paragraph about how Tommy + Divina are doing.
    Psss: I absolutely love Sloan!!!

Read all of the books in this series. All of them are solid "B" for me. Okay but not enough to stick with me (good or bad). Each book was a decent popcorn read and that's good enough for me.

That being said, this one I had higher expectations for. The summary really lead us to think the rift between the two main characters would be epic. Unfortunately it wasn't. Yes she "hated" him in that moment but pretty quickly afterwards you could see she still desperately wanted him.

It just didn't live up to the hype in the summary to me regarding tension/love-hate vibes. Most of the book was Sandro getting over himself for wanted a girl 9 years younger than him who was his childhood friend.

Things I did appreciate was the limited number of flashback scenes and the spice was pretty good.

I read the authors note at the end and she mentioned how she doesn't like friend-to-lovers trope and made them "hate" each other to make it more enjoyable to write. It kinda makes sense after reading it. If the author herself doesn't like a specific trope but writes it anyway, it will be difficult to make it amazing (imo).

    So yeah it's just okay.

I truly love this series. Scorned Obsession is book 4 and it absolutely delivers on mafia drama. It literally starts out with a bang and the hits just keep coming. I don’t give spoilers in my reviews but I definitely didn’t see a few of these twists coming. I’m glad that it wasn’t predictable & kept me on my toes. I absolutely swooned over Sandro & Bianca’s love story. They have such a rich history together and having their love for each other go through so much to come out stronger in the end was beautiful. Even though the book is technically a stand-a-lone, I would absolutely recommend reading the others in the series first.

    Wow, wow, wow!

I was lucky enough to be chosen to read the ARC for this book and my days, what a privilege it was to have the opportunity!

Absolutely spoilt is how I feel reading Scorned Obsession!
Each of the Alpha Males in their own stories are absolute fire 🔥 in their own right but Sandro just tips the top from my joint favourites in Cesar and Luca 🥵

I adore the total obsessed vibes of Sandro.
The story line is perfect and Victoria Paige has out done herself!

    Can't wait for Dom's book!

I really enjoyed Bianca and Sandro’s tale. They deserved their hard-won HEA. There were a few inconsistencies with the age gap, but the book was easy to read and very engaging.

Bianca always wanted Sandro. He was everything he wished for. He kept her at a distance because he didn't want his work to effect her. Till Gian ceases an opportunity to hold her and her brother hostage to get her to agree to marry him. After her brother is harmed she agrees to marry him under duress in order to get her brother help. But Sandro can't let it happen he makes arrangements to take his place and take over as Don. The thing is now Bianca sees Sandro was right all along she's not meant for his world she's not meant for him. Now that he has her he can't let her go .
This mafia romance pulls you in and captivates you with the world that Victoria creates. Sandro and Bianca are both so full of passion and you can feel their history making the spice next level.

I’m part of some readers groups with this author, so I know of her work but never really read her books. She’s always highly recommended so I took the plunge and so glad I did!

I’m in love with Sandro. I love the way he loves Bianca, and I enjoyed her feistiness and how she stood up beside her husband. I enjoyed the world building and how the families are connected and interact. Well written book with an engaging plot line and likeable characters. I’ll be going back to read the series from book 1. Dom’s book is next and i can’t wait for it!
