One of my FAVORITE backpacking Luxury Items
Do you HAVE to have this little gadget in your backpacking gear? No.But you won't regret the few extra ounces it adds to your pack.I love the duel purposes that it serves. A lantern for my tent and blowing up my airpad for the night. It's so nice after a day of putting miles in not to have to hyperventilate to get your air pad aired up.It's also super helpful to have an extra light to hang in your tent to get situated at night. My headlamp would do the trick, too, but there's just something about this little lantern hung from the top of my tent that gives me an added sense of security and home away from home coziness. LoL. Maybe I'm a little more boujee of a backpacker than some. lol.I have also considered getting vacuum bags for food and clothes which this little thing could definitely come in handy.I have used it on a few trips now. Two nights in 30 degree Celsius weather - charge was still good. A 4 day 3 night trip this spring for the eclipse. Charge lasted for the whole trip. Probably used for a total of 45 minutes. I carry a battery bank that would have been able to recharge if needed.I found this because one of my gear savvy adventure buddies had one and let me use it on a trip we did. I was impressed and had to get one for myself.Highly recommend. I would purchase this as a gift for someone starting out with camping or backpacking. Durable, Portable, Reliable and a great value in my opinion.
