This book is a great read! Suspenseful with surprises in every chapter! I loved the bond between the two characters, Mae and Genevieve...truly and sincerely pure! This book/story is all about compassion, kindness, forgiveness, healing, mistrust, deceitfulness, hurt, secrets...so many emotions all incorporated into 1 story. The story reminds me that we all have secrets or things we don't share with everyone. Anything can be forgiven and with forgiveness comes healing. With healing a new journey awaits! I can only hope there is more from Melissa...I'm hoping she has a lot more stories to tell!

Through her characters, the author doesn't hesitate to show the dichotomy that exists in each and every one of us. In addition, though all been wounded in some way and have reason to show hatred and desire retribution, they are able to show empathy, compassion and forgiveness. This book resonates with humanity and the strength of the human spirit.
