I recently had a conversation with a young patient who had experienced it all, alcohol, drugs, the fast track life, and had even undergone an abortion. I was appalled by the total lack in her of any moral standard. She was unable to resist sin, because she had no basis upon which to make a stand. I suspect she is probably typical of many of our troubled youth, who don't have a reason to resist, nor have they yet met the true Standard.

When a young person accepts Jesus Christ into his life, Jesus takes the twisted, wounded personality and creates a new person — beautiful, free and healthy. As an individual submits to Him, Jesus takes away the self-consciousness and replaces it with His kind of confidence. He also desires to free the individual from Satan and his demons. The young Christian must continue to mature and not allow his "house" to remain empty but to fill it with God's word, for a house that is empty will not remain so (Mat. 12:23-24). Thus, I wholeheartedly recommend this book to parents and those who wish to be able to engage in spiritual warfare.

The mechanics of ministry section is a tool to help the parent or guardian minister deliverance to a child needing help, with step-by-step instructions.

Bill Banks had more than thirty years ministering to the sick after having been miraculously healed of terminal cancer. His miracle healing is told in the book "Alive Again: 48 Hours to Live." Following his miraculous healing, he surrendered to the call of Jesus to minister in the United States and internationally.

Almost daily, people came to his office or to his meetings for prayer, to seek the Lord for their needs. Miraculous healing began in 1972 and continued all the way through the 2000s. He encountered blind eyes and deaf ears being opened, limbs being restored, tumors removed, AIDS healed, and even cases of people raised back to life. But beyond the call to the healing ministry, Bill Banks was ushered into the deliverance ministry in the early 1970s, and was called to follow the pattern of Jesus to set the captives free. He has recorded testimonies and revelations from these ministries in a number of books and teachings.

He co-ministered alongside a number of people in the revival movement, including Frank Hammond, Derek Prince, Francis MacNutt, Don Basham and others.

    This book is a valuable tool to both Christians and none Christians. Because it exposes the plight our our children beginning at the time of conception and into their adolescent years. There are many things that are plaguing our babies, and teens that we pass off as normal or some goes as far as to blame God for the abnormality of our children. How many parents in our society are aware of the spiritual plight of their children? not to many. I have seen children suffer needlessly and die needlessly because of lack of knowledge. My friends we are under a spiritual attack by the invading army of Satan. I said that for the benefit of those that believe or know that there is a devil, and for those who don't believe in a devil you have my respect accept my apology. My advice to all parents and would be parents is this, get this book and read it before you pass judgment. Because one day the life and well being of our children may depend on the information in this book.

    This was an extremely helpful book for a sensitive topic. We read it in preparation for ministering to a family who has adopted a child from a rough background. They were desperate for help. They have opened their hearts, home, and extended family to a child in need. It has not been easy at all. The strategies in this book are helping them to deal head-on with spiritual entities that "need to go." It also provides good follow-up suggestions for helping the child in need once the entities are "kicked out."
