I slowly replaced my bulbs with these. It’s worth getting the hub as well because you have everything under one app. It’s so convenient and fun to have limitless color options. I use them for main light sources like the living room, my bedroom, and my office. Even if you just get 1 it’s worth it. The app is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.

I have found the Phillips bulbs to be easy to install and are very long lasting. If you have multiple rooms with Hue lights, then you will need a hub. These can be spendy, however the ease of use, how long they last and various bulb options make them worth the price.

I've had this bulb for just over a month and I'm still deciding on my final opinion. The bulb was extremely easy to connect to my wifi and echo dot, has been very easy to use and has a quick response time. I like the brightness of it and it's got a good range of dimmability. I don't know if that's a word but we're going with it. The one issue I've had is it randomly disconnected one time. When I added it Alexa just found it and I didn't have an app associated with it. When it dropped off my set up I downloaded the app and linked up that way. So far since linking it that way I haven't had any further issues so if it stays stable I may add a star.

I have a lot of LED bulbs in my house. I have a bunch of Lutron LED dimmers and I'm pretty sure Lutron should face a class action. I have tried so many bulbs, so many settings on the dimmer, but no matter what the flicker is there. These Philips bulbs, while pricey, ultimately are worth it to me. Not only do they not flicker AT ALL, they change color, and they dim super well. I'm fed up with everything else. I'll just by Philips HUE from here on out. I bought 10 of these for my living room. They are amazing. Everyone who sees them asks me about them.

I've had other cheaper smart bulb/plugs that are finnicky, hard to set up, and get disconnected often. I havent had a single issue with these in the past six months of using them daily, and having the ability to control the lights from your phone is great when you dont have adequate wall switches or wiring for lamps. I like all of my lights coming on at once so these are perfect for that. I didnt think I'd use the colors as much as I do but the red light at night is great for falling asleep and avoiding more blue/white light. Will be adding more to other rooms in the house as the philips app is super easy to use.
