This strap does what it describes. You hook it on the top and bottom of your iPad and you can slip your hand in to hold your tablet. It is not very tight and I find it does feel a little loose and floppy at times on my hand, plus your hand slides up to the top and you really don't have any control of that. On top of that, it does not work well if you have a case, even a thin case, on your tablet. The hooks just aren't big enough. The hooks are rubbery and do not slide, so that is a plus point. Overall, it does what it says but you may have to modify it if you want a better hand placement, and if you aren't willing to give up your fancy case, this product is probably not for you.

I was wondering why the arthritis in my hand was acting.up. I realized it was because I was holding my iPad mini every day for long periods of time. I decided to order this strap for my iPad, and the pain went away after a week. For me placing the strap diagonally across the back of the iPad worked best for me. I wanted a decent holder that attaches easily to my iPad and would give me a good solid grip while my other hand uses the touch screen. I was disappointed with the tightness of the grip -- it's not tight enough and there is no adjustment. Therefore, your thumb really needs to stabilize the iPad or your hand will slip out. The hooks are coated which is good but cannot be used with a cover. How many people do you see using a iPhone or iPad without a cover? They need to make a grip that will fit over a cover with adjustable tightness like a shoulder strap for a bag. It'll do the job but be careful of potential drops. Oops I thought I was holding it...
