Product Description

Convenient for on-the-go repairs, Gorilla Tape To-Go's 1 inch width packs a powerful grip in a portable size. With double-thick adhesive, tough reinforced backing and rugged weather-resistant shell, it sticks to rough and uneven surfaces, including wood, stone, stucco and brick, that ordinary tapes can't hold.  This size is ideal size for backpacks, toolboxes, glove compartments for camping, boating and more! Directions: Use like any other tape. Tear Gorilla Tape by hand or cut to size with a knife or scissors. It is important to clean the surface and brush off any loose particles and dirt before applying Gorilla Tape. Apply the tape carefully, smoothing out any pockets or rolls. That’s it. Enjoy the strength and durability of Gorilla Tape! To retain adhesive quality, store Gorilla Tape in a cool, dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight. Try storing the tape vertically (rather than laying flat), on a hook or on wax paper. If you have multiple rolls, keep your excess supply wrapped until they’re needed. Gorilla Tape works best at temperatures above 32°F (0°C). For best results, always apply the tape at room temperature. If Gorilla Tape freezes, it will work just fine once it returns to room temperature. Gorilla Tape can be removed, but with some difficulty and it may leave some residue. To remove any excess residue, we recommend using the tape itself as a blotter. Gorilla Tape should not be used as an electrical tape. We’ve found that Gorilla Tape will last a lot longer than regular duct tapes when it comes in contact with moisture. Gorilla 3044401 Tape Handy Roll is a great, inexpensive alternative to expensive rim tape to convert your mountain bike tires to tubeless.I always keep a roll of this on hand as it’s uses seem endless. I always have a couple of 20” lengths wrapped around my mini pump on my MTB, just incase. You never know when you’ll need it out on the trail, to strap something to your bike, hold a tear in your tire together temporarily, hold the sole of your shoe on, or any number of issues you may encounter.This was the first time I used it to convert a set of rims to tubeless. I tried Stan’s & Muck-Off’s tapes, but the rim had some rough machining around the spoke holes that kept cutting & puncturing the tape. I decided to try the Gorilla Tape as it’s thicker & tougher. The rims have an inside width of 20mm & a deep well/belly. The rough/sharp edges within the rim posed no issue for the Gorilla Tape. It also covered the inside of the rim almost completely, just leaving enough of the rim exposed for the tire beads. The tire beads set & “popped” on the first inflation of both rims. I have had no issues w/this tubeless setup.If you’re looking for an inexpensive alternative to tubeless rim tape, Gorilla Tape Handy Roll may be right for the job. To have for “just Incase” trail situations, I think it’s a must.Thank you for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

This won’t replace a standard-sized roll of duct tape, but this tape is extremely useful for all sorts of situations, and you can keep them anywhere (tool bag, desk drawer, kitchen, travel bag, trail pack, center console,…). Just like an iPhone won’t replace a full-sized DSLR for quality photographs, people end up taking so many pics with their phone because it is just so convenient (just like this tape!).

I bought this tape to reinforce a tarp and make gear repairs. So far it hasn't let me down, the adhesive sticks very well. The tape feels heavy duty and the size of the rolls seem just about right for problems around the house. I'm also glad that it comes in packs of three because I can leave one at home, put one in an emergency kit and take one for the road. It's tape not the most exciting thing until you need it.
