Description of SS8P:
The SS8P is an all in one solution to give you great sounding bass in your vehicle without taking up a lot of space. This sub enclosure is only 2.8" thick so that it can easily fit under your seat. The amplifier is built in, so installation and wiring is clean and simple. This is a true all in one subwoofer solution with the subwoofer built into the enclosure along with a top of the line amplifier built in as well.
We focused on making installation a breeze so we designed this unit with you the customer in mind. We added high level inputs so you can install this to an aftermarket or factory system. The high level input allows you to install this even if you have no preamp outputs available.
The smart turn-on circuit will sense that an audio signal is present and turn on the amplifier. When you turn off your music signal the amplifier built into this subwoofer system will automatically turn itself off. Something else we did to make installation quick and easy is we put all the inputs and outputs on one side. This makes wiring neater and easier. Our competitor's models are more challenging to install.
The SS8P has 400 watts of peak power and 100 watts RMS. This has great controls so you can adjust the sound to your liking. It has a level control for the volume and subsonic filter to filter out the really low frequencies which the human ear cannot hear. This also has a low pass crossover filter, phase control, input sensitivity, and bass boost.
Included is a remote bass knob, and mounting hardware but the best thing about our model is the sound.

Description of RWK10:
The Rockville RWK10 10 AWG (American Wire Gauge) amp kit has the following differences over other amp kits on the market.
1. Our RCA cables are 100 % copper. These are top of the line RCA cables
2. Better Resistance: The only thing that really matters with wires is the resistance rating. This is a measurement of conductivity and how much signal is loss per foot of wire.
3. We do not cheat you on the thickness of the wire. These are standard American wire gauge thickness. Other brands in the market place write 10 gauge, but cheat you on the thickness. We are honest about the thickness.
4. The Rockville amplifier installation kits feature a new soft abrasion proof insulating jacket. This rugged PVC outer jacket allows for 100% improved flexibility over standard power cables making them extremely easy to route through your vehicles interior, and it maintains exceptional resistance to grease and oil. The PVC outer jacket can with-stand an extreme temperature range of -40 to 220 degrees F.
The RCA signal transfer cables included in this kit feature blue and silver twisted pair technology in a clear outer jacket insulation skin. Not only do the blue and silver wires look cool but they also provide superior signal transfer with maximum noise suppression. They are 100% copper to provide absolute lossless perfect signal transfer to your receiver. This technology reduces interference, so your audio signal flows clean and pure at all power levels.
The included 7 split loom tube provides protection for your power cable from the typically harsh environment found under the hood of your car.
AudioSavings product experts have tested this amp kit against many leading amp kits on the market and were were impressed not only by the great looks but by the quality of these Rockville installation kits as well. These kits had a lower resistance rating than the other brands we compared and tested them against. You will hear the difference a Rockville installation kit will make!
AudioSavings product experts have tested this amp kit against the leading amp kits on the market. Here are the facts from our testing. The resistance per foot of this kit is extremely low compared to any other amp kit in its range. The other amp kits we tested it against had resistance ratings that indicated they were an 8 gauge amp kit. We were more shocked than anyone about these tests, because we used to sell some of those amp kits. (We now will not sell those any more after learning that they are not up to the quality standards of our installers). The conclusion is that Rockville does a great job manufacturing amp kits while other brands are deceiving consumers.
One other last thing worth noting about our kit compared to others. Our kit cosmetically looks the best. It has blue power wire, clear ground wire, and twisted pair RCAs with matching colors. This model includes (1) set of RCA cables.

I installed it in an '88 Toyota pickup Xtra Cab that had an existing low-end JVC head unit running four equally cheap speakers. The setup sounded as you'd expect... not great, even with the built-in13-band eq tweaked as good as I could get it. Bass response was lousy. One huge issue with the setup was a horrible ~150 Hz resonance in the cavities in the back of the cab where the rear 6.5" speakers were installed. I cut that frequency in the eq, which helped tremendously, but the problem remained. I thought about installing some baffles and acoustic mat in there, but figured I'd get the sub in first and see if I could fix it with proper crossover settings. One benefit of small subs is that they can reproduce higher frequencies than larger subs. So I was hopeful I could crank up the sub's LPF and let it handle that troublesome 150 Hz, and set the HPF on the rear speakers above it.
I'd planned to install the sub under one of the seats, but protrusions in the floorboard on both sides prevented that. I ended up installing it on the floor behind the driver's seat, close to the back wall of the cab. Wiring was straightforward. I removed the seats to make things easier, and allow me to lift the carpet in order to run the cable for the remote to the center console.
I ran the wiring and connected it to the sub outputs on the head unit. It powered right up with the head unit and started thumping with the music! After adjusting the crossovers and eq on the head unit, and tweaking the adjustments on the sub, the system sounded absolutely amazing. I ended up turning the LPF on the sub to its maximum setting, and set the HPF on the rear speakers equally high. The annoying resonance was completely eliminated!
I tested the system with several different types of music, including hard rock with tight kick drums, and rap with super-low bass lines, and was just thrilled across the board with the performance of this little, unobtrusive sub.
10/10, would buy again! In fact, I'm about to take some measurements on my '86 Buick Grand National, and if it will fit under the seat, I'm gonna grab another one!

The fit and finish of the device is excellent. It's aluminum with a hammered finish and a good looking design that's not too flashy or in-your-face; I'm kinda disappointed I have to hide it under the seat.
Wiring it up wasn't bad, but could be better. I used the RCA cables to connect it to the Sub output on my head unit, and the power connectors come from an 8-pin connector (which is also where you'll find the high-level inputs). You're supposed to somehow connect the thich 8-gauge wire to two smaller wires on the 8-pin, which isn't super easy, especially if you don't have a powerful soldering iron. However, the included cables are awesome. They have a nice thick PVC insulation yet they're super flexible, even the thick 8-gauge power wires (I think its 8 ga, not 100% sure tho). To attach it to the car, I just drilled holes through the floor and screwed it in place. The included screws were a bit short, so I had to use longer ones I had lying around. If you drill through metal, make sure to paint it or something (especially if its exposed to the elements) otherwise it'll rust.
Once its wired up, it sounds awesome. bass is crisp but quite strong. I like the bass to be a bit heavy and this speaker totally delivers. If you're looking for something that rattles your license plate and can be heard from outside your car, this isn't it, but if you want to add a pretty good amount of bass, I highly recommend it.
It also comes with a little bass level remote control, which I highly suggest you install. some songs sound better without so much bass IMO, so it works great to easily adjust the amount of bass according to the song. It does have one of thouse ultra bright annoying blue LEDs tho, so keep than in mind when mounting it. However, the sub works perfectly fine without the remote.
The only real downside is that both the connectors and the adjustment knobs are on the same side, so you can either mount them all in a visible location, making it easy to adjust the sub, but also making it a bit uglier since the wires will also be visible, or you can hide the connectors for a cleaner look, but adjusting anything will be a pain (I have to go from the front of the seat with a tiny screwdriver and adjust everything by feel).
