The plastic tends to cure tacky, even if you hit it with the UV for 20-30 seconds and wipe with alcohol afterward.

I had some trouble getting it to actually bond to some stuff, even after sanding and wiping the bonding surfaces down with alcohol, but I chalk that up to learning how to use a new material.

Loses a star for the tackiness because that seems like a chemical problem I can't solve with trial and error.

The little UV light is cool. Made of metal, twist to turn on. Neat to have for investigating fluorescent things.

Title: Really Useful Product
Been messing with this stuff for the last few days. Bottom line, it’s really useful once you figure out where to use it. I first fixed my broken cell phone case.. the liquid legit turns to hard clear plastic after a few seconds under the light.. super easy. I then fixed my work badge which I was skeptical about. I built it up and cured it little by little and it ended up actually working.. not sure any other glue would be able to re-build a plastic piece. Pretty cool.
I also learned the light needs to hit the liquid for it to cure properly so it’s not for everything but very useful so far. There is a good amount of glue in the bottle and think there will be many more places I can put this to work. Highly recommend.

I made the mistake of believing the lies about this product, if you can call it that. Well it just does not work, at all, and no matter what I try to do it fails miserably. I'd be better off using Gorilla or super glue than this junk. You can smell it cooking but there's sure not sticking to be found anywhere. I'll most likely eat this one, just not worth returning. My advice to other potential customers? STAY AWAY FROM IT, IT'S A HUGE LIE AND SCAM.
Well, I decided to try it once again and to my surprise? It was a total failure, once again and really wasn't surprised at this. This a scam and junk, do not buy it. Stay away from it and don't be a fool, like I was, to believe the fairy tale that this stuff could really work. It doesn't matter if you follow the instructions or not, it just will not harden, stays liquid, no matter what. Junk, pure junk so do yourself a favor don't buy it.

A couple months ago, I smacked my thumb, hard. I knew right away I was going to lose the nail, and it got to the point it was starting to catch on things. I saw FlashFix on Amazon, and decided to try it out. I cleaned out the mess as well as I could, dribbled in some of the liquid and waited for it to spread out (somewhat) evenly. I hit the light, and put it close to the liquid.

One thing I hadn't counted on was that it quickly got HOT. It only lasted a few seconds, though, and the fluid was now a nice, dry, and hard material that I hope will last for a while. Even though it got hot, I wouldn't hesitate to give it another treatment.

I received my first introduction to this kind of stuff as a gift. It worked fine but the container was really small and hard to get the liquid out of, especially when it got close to the bottom of the supply. This is the same kind of chemical plastic and works with the UV light but is a better supply and easier to handle. While it claims to not be a glue, it works very well when building models, not to mention mending dishes and other broken items.

The battery in the flashlight arrived completely dead. I can replace but, I shouldn't have to. The bottle of glue arrived with no applicator or anything. It was just a bottle of glue with no way to apply it at all.
The company reached out to me several times and we came to the conclusion it was a defective product which does happen. They did fully refund me for the product right away and I really respect the communication between us and the time they took to make sure I understood how to use their products correctly. I would definitely try this product again.
