So these luggage travel straps were a life saver and game changer for us this Christmas season. My daughter decided for 2023 we should experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. So we traveled 5 adults and three kids. We broke up into two travel groups. The plan was that she and her er 9 and 4 year old son's with two adults would leave on a 6 AM flight from Maryland with all 8 suitcases, check into the resort and get settled . I have physical disabilities /complications so I traveled with my 10 year old grandson and son-in-law later tgat evening. It seemed impossible!!! Eight suitcases. Well my daughter heard about luggage straps and I laughed at her, but ordered them anyway and they arrived ridiculously fast . When the straps arrived I was impressed by how sturdy they were and thought this just might work until we put all of the suitcases in the pickup and I was like no way this is gonna work. Group one got to the airport strapped the suitcases together and rolled them to the counter as a single unit with little effort. My daughter was even video chatting with me as they were strolling the luggage to check it in. That is just how effortless these straps made their 6 AM journey. We loved Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but the hero on this trip was definitely these luggage straps. They made what could have been a horrible travel experience a peaceful one. I have recommended this brand to friends and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to make family travel more convenient and effortless.

Buy the heavy duty Metal version

The metal version was a lifesaver this past week when I had spinners at 28" @48lbs and a 24" @ 43lbs plus a non spinner carry-on. I just used the metal luggage strap to connect the 28" with the 24".

I think a few things will determine the success of these metal straps.
A) Load the your heavy side in the correct direction. I tried to load as evenly or more heavier towards handle side on both suitcases, with heavier items on the bottom near the wheels.
B) Turning ease will be a mix of how your fresh your suitcase wheels are, how tight you bundled your suitcases and the terrain. On thicker carpet, I had to drag the 24" by using the 28" as hand truck. If you get a line that's setup like a zig-zag it's going to be tough no matter if you have a suitcase train or not.
C) Initially I tried loosening the 28" handle strap, storing in carry on then dropping over the 28" handle strap without re-cinching the straps. This turned out to be a big mistake. Take the time to re-cinch each strap so that the load is secure.

This metal luggage strap worked great between luggage check to car rental and every place in between.

really nicely made. appreciate the metal buckles. unfortunately, the straps are too short for my trunk-style luggage. had them at maximum length to connect the standard piece to the carryon (which tilted a bit). there was no way another piece or bag could be attached to the carryon with the accompanying strap.
