I didn't have a problem with tying off the ends after making kielbasa with both the cellulose and collagen products by the same manufacturer. Much easier to handle, and no leaks like with natural sheep casings, PLUS, these "keep" from one use to another unlike the natural casings.

This item came up when I searched for edible vegetarian sausage casings. *THESE ARE NOT EDIBLE!* Since the previous cellulose casings I bought from The Sausage Maker were edible, there were not enough warning signs from the description that these are not edible. I think they need to be better marked.

Other than not being edible, a problem I had with them is that they ruptured too easily when stuffing them.
