Raised in a small town off the coast of Maine, Dee Markwith eventually discovered creative writing to be the perfect outlet for his overactive imagination.

Originally hired by a small publishing business to edit romance novels, and quickly realizing these novels were mostly the same, Markwith daringly surprised the publisher with a novel of his own. Initially skeptical, they agreed to release it under a pseudonym that robbed him of any recognition for a book that was an immediate success, both commercially and critically. His second book was also a smash hit, yet released under a fictitious name again, and his third book—Amazon’s #1 best-seller for its genre—also suffered the same fate until Markwith finally broke his silence.

Having received no monetary compensation for the positive reviews and sales all three books garnered, Dee took it upon himself to seek justice for this wrongdoing. Now, after years of being published under pseudonyms, Markwith’s work is finally being released with proper credit given to this remarkably talented writer.
