How we got our start
After 15 years as a fashion and celebrity hair stylist, I wanted to create a new playbook for "hair wellness". It was increasingly clear to me that poor scalp health was the root of most issues, and therefore set out to create products that would nourish the scalp with the care that it deserves.What makes our product unique

For men and women with dry, flaky scalp.
I have eczema, which also spills into having a dry scalp. This product has made shampooing yet another hydrating step! I placed some detox before my shampoo and a little bit after, and my scalp could BREATHE!!! I previously had braids in since january and this really was able to bring my hair back to life in preparation for my next style.I liked it so much i gave it to my boyfriend to try as he has longer hair and gets it braided a lot his stylist uses A LOt of gel in his styles so this was perfect. his scalp has so much buildup so i told him to ask his stylist to prepoo his hair with the product and he said he is so happy that i put him on !! His scalp was so clean and is less sore! He also has some thinner spots so over time the vitamin e and nutrients should help free up the pores and give his hair the nutrients it needs to flourish. Definitely a staple!

I was sent this from Act+Acre & I use it with the Conditioning Mask. I REALLY love this scalp detox… usually not a fan of oils at all, but this is super light weight, non greasy & leaves no residue after wash. It smells earthy and is extremely soothing. After wards my scalp had way less flakes & was visibly hydrated. It really helped with nourishing my scalp, im very tender headed and this was a really nice feel to it.

Let me say that Act + Acre has the most thoughtful and useful packaging. This no fuss but great looking bottle with the twist top nozzle makes it so easy to apply the oil to your scalp. At first I was worried because after application my hair and scalp feel and look so oily, but everything rinses off easily and you are just left with a healthy scalp (by that I mean no flakes, no itch). I have noticed more hair growth even though it is not listed as a benefit. The only thing I need to do is remembering to apply this 20 minutes before I hop in the shower!
