Purchase options and add-ons

Spot-on, often satirical, always insightful, contributing editor of The American Mind and mother of a brood, Peachy Keenan argues that the only way we can save our families, ourselves, and the world—even California!—is by embracing our inner domestic extremists, and sweeping failed notions of third wave feminism and identity politics nonsense into the garbage can of history.

In This House We Believe

Parents Are the Bosses of Their Kids

Babies Are Good, More Babies Are Better

Two Sexes Are Plenty

Your Career Is Overrated

Feminism Is How the Unpopular and Undateable Cope with Life

Mainstream American Culture Destroys Families

We Are Going to Win

We’re in a culture war, and Peachy Keenan is not taking prisoners. This raucous new book is her rallying cry for normal people stuck in the foxholes and appalled by the status quo.

Mothers and fathers, regular American families, men and women, can win this battle together. But a lot of ground has been lost. For decades, we stood around and watched as feminists and progressives steamrolled through our institutions— those formerly robust, now comically inept, pillars of civilization like our government, our schools, and, crucially, our families.

With matchless insight and devastating humor, Peachy Keenan makes the case for domestic extremism—turning away from the diseased offerings of the elites, the media, Hollywood, your child’s school, and Big Tech, and embracing a more human way of life. The life-changing magic of domestic extremism will spark joy and help you build a legacy that will enrich the lives of your (many) descendants.

Review

“The definitive how-to for escaping the dreary girlboss life cycle of our times.”

INEZ STEPMAN, senior policy analyst, Independent Women’s Forum, and host of the podcast High Noon

“Peachy Keenan is a wickedly funny island of uncompromising conservatism in the fanatical heart of West Coast woke monoculture. If anyone has a handle on how to keep yourself sane and your kids un-brainwashed, it’s her.”

MARY HARRINGTON, author of Feminism Against Progress

“Peachy Keenan has written a book for the ages—especially our Current Stupid Age...and God help us all if we don’t heed her words.”

BRIDGET PHETASY, writer, comedian, and host of the podcasts Dumpster Fire and Walk-Ins Welcome

“In an age of absurdity, jokesters are the best truth-tellers. Peachy Keenan’s online wit conveys real-life genius.”

SPENCER KLAVAN, editor of The American Mind and author of How to Save the West: Ancient Wisdom for 5 Modern Crises

“Peachy Keenan cuts through the madness of modern feminism and provides a bold, funny, and radical plan for retaking domesticity in the twenty-first century.”

CHRISTOPHER F. RUFO, senior fellow, Manhattan Institute, and author of America’s Cultural Revolution: How the Radical Left Conquered Everything

“Keenan’s wit is biting the same way that particular species of pit vipers are biting—it’s aggressive, appears in places where you least expect it, and it’s frequently deadly.”

MOLLIE HEMINGWAY, editor-in-chief of The Federalist, Fox News contributor, and author of the bestseller Rigged: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections

“Yesterday’s soccer mom is today’s domestic extremist. Raising your own family is becoming a radical act of rebellion—one well worth committing, as Peachy Keenan brilliantly describes.”

TUCKER CARLSON, host, Tucker Carlson Tonight

About the Author

Peachy Keenan is the pseudonym for a writer and mother living deep behind enemy lines. She identifies as a husbosexual, which means she is only attracted to people who identify as her husband. Peachy gave up a career writing for corporate behemoths so she could devote herself to her family, post on Twitter, and let her freak flag fly as a contributing editor and regular essayist for The American Mind, a publication of The Claremont Institute. A convert to Catholicism from secular nothingness and liberal feminism, Mrs. Keenan resides in Southern California, her ancestral homeland. She shares a home with her husband and children, who remain her toughest audience. You can find her on Twitter @keenanpeachy, at least until she is cancelled.

Just started listening and love the vibe of it right out of the gate. Hard not to want to listen to more when the opening quotes are from Flannery O'Connor and G. K. Chesterton. Looking forward to the listen and the read.

Fabulous book with enough light hearted humor to keep it engaging. An easy refreshing read that powerfully speaks volumes about the state of society and lies that have been fed to corrupt our culture and to coop young women. This books honest refreshing light style is a breath of fresh air that encourages us all to reclaim the genuine American lifestyle that is so lacking in modern culture. Despite its mild humor and easy read, this book is hard hitting and nails the frustrations that we all face with the constant insanity in society. It is practical necessary advice on how to live a humble Godly fulfilled live of happiness and love - without the necessity for raising goats and chickens. A wonderful uplifting and engaging read for women and men of all ages - and especially necessary for young women confused about society. This book is fabulous - just buy it. I saw a review of Peechy on Tucker and bought it on a whim - due to his recommendation - and I could not be more impressed. This book is foundational and life changing.

Peachy is a superpower to be reckoned with when it comes to reason, understanding, determination, and “we win” optimism on today’s world stage. This book explodes with insight and revelation that frankly left me—a senior citizen reader who is clearly not a member of her target audience—more than a little embarrassed and regretful (in the way God gently allows us to see the missed opportunities of our past). For the sake of America’s future, all women 12 and up should read and adopt the ideas Peachy presents in this brilliant book. Understand it now and you won’t have to be sorry you didn’t tomorrow. We don’t have to be bitter, resentful, and miserable. Who knew? Peachy Kennan figured it out. Let her enlighten you, your friends, and your daughters today. Peachy, I am beyond grateful for minds like yours that are boldly seeking truth in an anti-truth era.

Peachy writes like few others can. Mixing a dark and foreboding topic with laugh out loud commentary, Peachy has written a very readable book which uncovers problems and provides solutions, to counter a dark force that is consuming so much of our society. If you have a wife, daughter, mom, aunt, niece, or female friend you love and care about, this book is for you (and for them. And everyone else you know). Excellent!!

It's so easy to get confused about what is and isn't important these days. "Domestic Extremist" offers a far-sighted, clear-eyed look at humanity's future if we don't get some things straight. Keenan is a incisive humorist and a welcome change from other more shrill, panicky, commentators.

Pithy review of the state of modern feminism and the impact it has had on both women specifically and society as a whole. She holds nothing back in her biting assessment. But she also offers her view of a way out of the trap she believes today's society is in. You will either love or hate this book but no one who reads it will be unaffected. For the non feminists it gives hope they are not alone. If any young feminists read it, it provides an alternative perspective on where their life may be. If they can get by the first chapter without burning the book it will definitely make the reader think. And a big plus is her writing style is a lot of fun to read. Quite a few laughs while shaking my head.

Keenan spells out what JD Vance was getting at with his "childless cat ladies" quip. She makes a compelling case for marriage, children, and faith. She speaks with sad knowledge about the single working life for women.

I've read as many of Peachy's articles as I could find over the last couple of years. I love her wit, her charm, her femininity! I've been looking forward to reading this book as soon as I heard about it. It did not disappoint. It is exactly what I expected from such a wise and witty woman. I'm giving this book to my 19 year old daughter to read immediately and I personally can't wait for any other book she may write. I love Aunt Peachy!
