Hurts, painful memories inflicted by other people can live for years in our hearts. Thanks Lysa for sharing your walk from pain, anger and bitterness to forgiveness and peace. NOTHING has helped me heal like your book has I read it and reread it, highlighting passages, meditating on the truths you write. It's a process but so worth it. Thank you also for sharing when you stumbled and got back up again because it helps me feel like I'm not a failure if I have not perfected this walk yet And it so much encourages me to keep seeking this peace in place of anger, bitterness and resentment. Can't thank you enough for writing this book and sharing your own pain with such honesty and a victorious walk towards a heart filled with peace and forgiveness. Thank you for showing us that it's possible and so worth it

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing book! This book has changed my life :')

This book is brilliant. Lysa writes almost from such a direct and personal point of view and beautifully brings in faith and religion in such a gentle way and as a reminder to teach you how to forgive. She teaches that forgiveness is very much a process AND an action and something we have to practice. She very much validate the pain you've been through. I've never connected to a book so much like this, and I'm now gonna be buying all her books. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Even if you're not a religious person - please trust this book. You'll be in with it straight away

3.0 out of 5 stars Tropi riferimenti religiosi
Reviewed in Italy on August 9, 2024
