Great lil device at a great price.
Great little device. Works great once calibrated. Very easy to calibrate. App was easy to install and easy to connect. It takes awhile for it to settle and read true but once there it's spot on. Blue tooth range is amazing. Would have given 5 stars but as you can see in the pic, the factory settings was a bit off from being accurate until I calibrated it with another device Swiss made that has proven to be spot on accurate.

This is my second Govee Bluetooth thermometer/hygrometer. I can say after using these devices I’ve been extremely impressed.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt that this deserved one.

I currently use one of these to monitor the temperature and humidity in my attic. In Florida the temperatures get pretty high. This device has not failed or had any issues even being exposed to 120F and humidity in the upper 90%. The readings are accurate and the range is quite impressive. With the device in my attic I can still acquire a connection even in my shed in my back yard.

Setup is extremely easy, and the Govee app is easy to use and understand.

I highly recommend this product.

I don't need to keep a room at a very specific humidity level like many others, but I have this paired with my Govee humidifier (H7141) in my bedroom, and it has worked perfectly! It communicates the current humidity to my humidifier, so that the machine knows when to turn on and off to keep the room at a comfortable level. I put fresh batteries in it once when I received it in Jan. 2022, and as of Dec. 2022 they have not needed to be changed! I have zero complaints, except perhaps that it would be nice to be able to turn off the little flashing light, the same way Govee gives you the option of turning off the lights of other devices. I just put a tiny sticker over it, so it's not a big deal for me. If it ever dies, I imagine I will be buying another of the exact same product!

I’m impressed with the hygrometer and it’s accuracy out of the box. While it does allow you to calibrate in the software, it was not necessary. Out of 6 hygrometers I’ve tested, this is the first that was accurate.

I found the Bluetooth connectivity to be good, and it does exactly what it advertises. It’s no different than any other Bluetooth device that needs to be in range. Bluetooth is a weak signal, and suffers from obstructions. If you want readings from further distance, or while away, pay more and get the WiFi version (H5179) of this model. You’ll be happier in the long run if you want longer range. With the Bluetooth version, you don’t lose the readings while out of range, but you will only sync and see them when you are back in range.

I had bought from Amazon another freezer/refrigerator alarm and never could get it programed since the instruction sheet was confusing and the print was so small (even using a magnifying glass). Took another chance with buying one from Amazon and within 7 minutes of opening the package (and downloading the app) it was working fine with my iPhone using bluetooth. I can check it with my iPhone (I think that an Android app is available but I haven't checked) using the bluetooth connection and am now confident that if my freezer goes out it will alert me before the food spoils. Finally a great alarm product and I highly recommend it.

It is easy to pair with your phone and temperature is pretty accurate. The humidity is another matter, no matter how you calibrate it the readings are all over the place. I used two other humidistats to try and adjust it to match the other ones. It just doesn't read correctly. I purchased it to put in our crawlspace to monitor the temp and humidity with the dehumidifier. I will have to purchase a different one for this.

I am a snowbird that has a residence in Canada and Florida. I need to monitor temperature in my homes when I am away. If there is a problem with my furnace or air exchanger I can call and have it fixed before something gets damaged..
