    I added this for an apple car play plug off a new car stereo unit for a Nissan Rogue. Used a dremel to cut the hole for this. Because they don't tell you the size I used a caliper to measure, cut a smaller hole and then ground the hole until a perfect fit.

    It would help if the would give the precise measurements to cut.

    This was just what I needed for my car stereo to connect my phone for android and iPhone carplay. I drilled two 3/8" holes side by side and squared the corners to make it fit. It looks so much clearer than cords handling out of the dash.

    Mounted this in dash so I wouldn't have to fight usb cable when using Android auto. It works great and doesn't cause any lag when using Android auto. The tabs are really close to the trim pc that is supposed to set outside the dash. When pushed through the hole the clips don't want to clip in place because the plastic on dash was thicker than the space between tabs and front of plug. I had to trim the tabs off a tiny bit ( as little as I possibly could). This made it loose. I ended up throwing some contact adhesive on it and that did the trick. All in all it works and I'm satisfied but if I had to do over I would've bought one that is threaded and has a nut that keeps it in place. I don't think there is a pc of plastic on any dash that would be as thin as the gap between clips and forward facing side of usb plug.
