A: Although weight claims on Command Picture Hanging Strips have changed, the product performance has not changed and can still hold up to previously stated weight claims It is the same product. The packaging has a new look.
Q: My Command Picture Hanging Strips says 5 lbs but there are also 4 lb Command Picture Hanging Strips. Are these the same?
A: The 5 lb claim on pack contains 2 pairs of medium strips. The 4 lb products contain small strips, which are gradually getting discontinued.
Q: Can they be used as vertical or horizontal?
A: They can be used either direction.
Usage Tips
- Wait 7 days after painting before use
- Do not hang over beds or on wallpaper
- Do not hang valuable or irreplaceable items
- Not recommended for mounting shelves, tapestry, or shadow boxes
- Do not apply strips to paper or fabric surfaces on frame
- Remove hanging hardware from back of frame
- Use indoors 50º-105ºF
- Prep wall with isopropyl rubbing alcohol before hanging frame

Command Hooks Outdid Themselves
Needed a non-destructive way to hang these two pictures. Ordered these command strips by accident thinking they were command hooks. Was super confused for a minute but figured out what I'd done and thought I'd give them a try anyway. These prints are pretty heavy, especially with the frame and glass, so I used 4 strips per but they did great. This may be my new favorite Command product!
