Great tool for flattening material with self adhesive backing

Great tool for flattening material with self adhesive backing
Update: I added more pictures of the full 7 piece drum kit along with a snare drum I wrapped using faux leather which I had to spray both the shell and the material. This roller is truly the only reason my drum kit does not have any air pockets or bubbles in the wrap. If you plan on wrapping material on a hard surface be it self adhesive wrap or even material that you have to spray then I would HIGHLY suggest using this tool.Edit: Keep in mind the screws holding this baby together are hex heads... so if you want to put a washer or something you can take the roller apart. I used this on drums while re-wrapping all my shells. Some of the material was creased so bad i didnt think it would lay flat. Or some of the air pockets were so big i thought "theres no way im going to get that bubble out". But a few rolls with this did the job perfectly. I uploaded more photos of different angles. I also purchased the wrap from Amazon.I purchased this roller for rewrapping my drum kit. I purchased self adhesive paper and i knew i could use a credit card or a bondo plastic spreader. But I didnt want to damage the outside of the contact paper. This roller has some give to it which helps when you have a drum shell thats got holes drilled all around the shell and im able to push any bubbles towards these holes or the outter rim of the drum (bearing edge). This tool makes me feel like im a professional even though this is my first time doing something like this, and the only reason i purchased it is when i went to get the contact paper it suggested i purchase this (which i did). Im 6'3" and 285lbs... my hands are large and i was worried I'd get this tiny roller... turned out to be wrong. The size is perfect, the handle is solid, and it does its job like a champ. If you plan on using wrap that has self adhesive backing then this tool will make your life a lot easier. I was impressed when i wrapped a drum that had a decent size air pocket in the dead center of the drum. But i was able to push it out the side using the roller. I also plan on putting some sound dampening material in my Jeep and im excited to see how well it performs. But dont be fooled by the name. This baby works on just about anything... the contact paper i got had these big wrinkles in it (as shown in the picture i posted) but with this roller tool it took that air pocket right out when attaching it to my wooden shells.
