For example, most of this book seems to be focused on the male figure. There is some stuff towards the end of the book regarding the female form, and most of the muscles and bones are applicable to men and women, but the lack of variety is a little tiring. Another thing that's weird about this book is the short section towards the end that describes "racial differences" and uses some very out-dated language. It doesn't say anything outright offensive (but definitely incorrect) and actually seems to be pretty respectful, only focusing on the aesthetic differences between different people. That's not to say it isn't inaccurate and borderline offensive, but I'm trying to give the book the benefit of the doubt considering it was published in 1951.
Overall, I'd recommend this book, especially for the price. If you need something to keep on your desk as a quick way to reference different details of the human form, this book will do you well. If you're looking to learn more of the technical aspects of figuring drawing, I'd recommend "Figure Drawing For All It's Worth" by Andrew Loomis. Ideally you'd want to get both
