What I suggest to purchase along with this clear coat, if you don't already have it, is a pack of painter cups, stir sticks, a small tarp - big enough to cover whatever will be clear coated, and drop cloth for the floor. To cover the back splash or corners of tables, counters, etc., I suggest that you also purchase some paint brushes, foam or bristle either should work fine, but after using them it would best to just throw out the brushes since the clear coat will harden when dry making any brush used unusable. Also, you'll need a couple of wide putty knives, preferably plastic and I used a heat gun to get rid of any bubbling. Lastly, you may want to buy a roll of painter's tape and if you use it, don't forget to remove the tape prior to the epoxy resin drying, or you will have a job trying to get rid of it once it's dry.
In all, I was a little intimidated by using this product because it is final once applied and if done wrong, can be a nightmare to fix (reading some reviews that were posted about this product online) or even give an uneven or lumpy appearance. But it worked great for me and I'm happy that I used it.

I can't believe for 10% over what other brands cost, this stuff gives you double. That's about 55 cents on the dollar, at most.
I've used a couple of other brands, and Puduo was my go-to for clarity, easy mixing, low odor, and price.
But instead of $20, the Famowood is more like $22- for DOUBLE the amount of product.
Same easy, forgiving 1:1 ratio.
Same relatively fast mixing time. (I do about a minute on both, letting it go from clear, to cloudy, to clear again, no problems ever from it).
Same beautiful, clear, mirror-flat final product.
Slightly more odor. And the odor is clearly not a healthy essential oil smell- this emits fumes that don't even pretend to be benign. But they aren't copious, just don't leave your face directly above the cup when you're mixing, and have some decent ventilation. This stuff wasn't designed for the home hobbyist, but a home hobbyist with some basic common sense can definitely take advantage of this product with a nice price break!
Update Aug 6, 2021 - the product has started to yellow slightly. The once white stripes are slightly yellow. Not a huge deal, but definitely something to be aware of if you will be using outdoors.
