Customers like the weight of the musical instrument amplifier. They say it's good for portable practice around the house, or even for a small child. The portable sound amplifier is handy to clip on their pocket. It serves its purpose as a travel amp and for busking. The heavy plastic case takes mild dumps onto concrete well and looks good. It is a great little hotel / travel amp, and ideal for playing in smaller spaces when there is not a lot of noise.

I also tried it with my chinese electric violin from ebay. It does sound decent, though the sound has quite a bit of kick to it, not so sweet as the name might suggest. That might be a plus for you if you want to perform with this amp, I only care for the practicing aspect.
Surprisingly it sounds pretty good with my NS Design NXT Electric 5-String Cello , including the low F string, though the sound is rather unbalanced, still trying to figure it out.
Overall I am pleased with it, though you do get what you pay for in terms of sound quality, I am mostly worried about how long it will last, based on the other reviews.
However, when I finally received my package and unboxed the mini amp, I thought that I would be able to turn it on and play it as it is since it comes with a battery. Nope, wasn't working. When I opened the back panel, the connector was not inserted properly? So the battery wasn't giving any power to the amp because the amp connector is inserted at a weird angle. I've tried to fix it by aligning it with a new battery that I've inserted but the connector is still misaligned. It's literally a circuit design flaw. So to try and fix the issue, I have had to use paper and tape to get this thing aligned correctly. The sound quality is affected by this. I'm hearing a "sputter - pop" noise when playing my electric guitar.
Really disappointed honestly. I thought that I would have at least purchased a working amp, but nonetheless, the Honeytone did not deliver.
1/5 stars.

PUNTOS POSITIVOS :
