Perfect cream corn
This is a great corn creamer. Works like it always has. I set the cutter at top to lowest setting and start running the ears down the groove. The only thing different from my old one is that the grater attachment, for creaming is removable. Which makes for easy cleanup, but it has a learning curve. Once you run the cob all the way down the groove, over the cutter completely, lift and bring back to beginning, don’t let it drag over the cutter on the way back up or it will pull the small attachment out of the grooves and you’ll need to re-set. Once I figured that out we did almost three hundred ears at one sitting, putting up 24 quarts of corn. Works great, love it, thank you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality!
Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2020
Cutting and freezing corn in NCPA is a yearly thing for our family! We have always used our great grandmothers for this yearly tradition but since the family keeps growing and there is only one cutter getting used by multiple family members I choose to go ahead and buy one. Was worried the quality may not be as good as the original one I’m used to using since that one is generations old but this cutter works great! It’s pretty much identical to the original one! The only difference I really noticed is that the wood on this one isn’t completely smooth like the original. Not sure if it’s just because it’s new and hasn’t been worn down yet but it’s not too bad just a little rough in spots. I look forward to passing it down to the next generations!
