This book is essential reading for anyone who has any interest in the issue of vaccinations. There are numerous commentaries, opinions, and statistics on the subject, but Scheibner takes you to the source: the actual data from 100 years of mainstream studies conducted on vaccinations and their effects. A Ph.D. scientist, Scheibner has written a first-rate literature review that would allow readers to judge for themselves what the data has to say about each vaccine and its surrounding issues (e.g. effectiveness, risk of disease without vaccination, side effects, and more). To top it off, the book is an engrossing and easy read. Scheibner presents not only summaries of shocking empirical evidence, but she narrates it in a broad historical context that offers insight on how vaccines persisted despite damaging data throughout their history.
Scheibner stumbled onto this field after finding a temporal correlation between the DPT vaccine and a baby breathing monitor she co-invented to help prevent SIDS. This book is a result of years of subsequent literature research she conducted to investigate the issue further. She concludes from both the literature and her own research that vaccines "represent a medical assault on the immune system," and shares with the reader the studies that convinced her--complete with information on results, sample sizes, control groups, and other details that would allow the reader to have perspective on the validity and limits of each study. References may be hard to follow, because they are listed in order of mention in each chapter, but are not footnoted numerically. However, the important thing is that they are all there.
I enthusiastically recommend this book to anyone (pro or con) who wants to see published empirical evidence on vaccinations, rather than parroted opinion or threat. Scheibner has accomplished a remarkable feat in giving readers a chance to make up their own minds intelligently. I do not agree with all of Scheibner's conclusions, and you may not either. But at the end of the book, you will be able to base your agreement or disagreement on evidence, rather than on hearsay or myth. Scheibner has been accused of misrepresentation and pseudoscience. Does she sometimes make exaggerated or erroneous statements? Yes. But the value of the book lies not in her conclusions, beliefs, or statements. It lies in her summaries of pertinent data that would alert an educated reader to investigate the original articles for themselves. An thinking reader should be able to discern between belief and data. If you buy only one book on vaccinations, this should be the one.

I don't know what the endgame is with the vaccination wargames demonizing people who question those who would force all to subject themselves to physical violation without clear & evidenced reason.....but the science is clear for those who seek the truth. The Scheibner's were early pioneers working to understand the sudden spiking of 'cot death' or 'sudden infant death syndrome' in the '70's, early '80's, & they proved their case though the news was not well, or ethically, received by the industry & partnering governments, the WHO etc. They also proved that the MRI images of brain inflammation from a child that had been violently shaken and one responding to the MMR vaccine about 3 weeks out were identical & could not be distinguished between by expert witnesses who were called upon to testify at trials in shaken child accusation cases: vindicating the innocent. It's too bad that honesty & truth do not prevail concerning the interests of all the innocents and unaware willingly sacrificed by the promoters & manufacturers of these highly lucrative & convenient control mechanism 'health interventions' . Even the so-called 'pro-life' people wink at the WI-38 human diploid cells, WI-38 fibroblasts are derived from tissues of a fetus aborted in 1964, of the MMR in order to be status quo & 'pro' vaccine. It's hypocritical, inconsistent & a disgrace. Some receive & repent when presented with truth, others just double down on the sin in pragmatic & self-righteous denial, & attack the messenger, to their ultimate loss when they will stand before God & give account. I would warn.... with the evidence in hand.

Comprehensive review of scientific vaccination studies,main-line medicine. Reviews results, conclusions. Scheibner has the knowledge base to research and review technical data that I, a non-medical person, don't have. They engineered a machine to monitor a baby's breathing and have evidence of direct correlation, cause and effect. Fascinating, scary; appears truthful and scientific.

Interesting. I'm not sure all her conclusions match the cited research. My advice is... Delay vaccinations, spread them out as much as you can, and avoid least necessary ones, I.e. rotovirus

This used book was described as being in "very good condition" and it is almost like new. The only thing I can see is a tiny crease near the outer corner of the back cover. Shipping was faster than expected and item was well packaged. For a book copyright in 1993, it is disappointing it is out of print. Every single chapter ends with a lengthy list of references for the info presented in that chapter. I'm glad they chose to do it this way, as there is so much info in this book the reference section would be quite thick if it wasn't broken into sections.

I am glad this information is being disseminated. Even in peer reviewed literature, it is difficult to find unbiased studies of vaccine safety. Apparently, the talons of big pharma reach everywhere. It is hard to find papers written by scientists who are completely free of conflicts of interest. Some cautionary studies suggesting links between vaccines and adverse health events have been retracted for vague or flimsy reasons and unfounded allegations of ulterior motives. This book was an interesting read for me and led me to read up on the issue of vaccine safety.

First saw and read this in a doctor's office where I wrote down the ISBN#. It cost only $30 then, to be purchased straight from the publisher. I put off the purchase 20 years because I misplaced the ISBN#. but I still wanted the book. so recently I did an online search and bought it used. Very happy with my purchase.

Since to book references numerous articles and brings out the most important points of those articles it is a must read by everyone interested in vaccines. I listened to Viera many years ago and was amazed at what she had found and it changed my decision about vaccines forever. I will never vaccinate myself again and I will never vaccinate my children. I also have so many friends now who chose not to vaccinate and their children are all healthy. I have over the years realized that all these vaccines are a medical assault on the immune system and does a lot more damage than it does good.
But please, make up your own mind after reading this book.

This is an excellent source of information regarding vaccines from an entirely INDEPENDENT researcher. Sadly currently out of print, but well worth purchasing any copy you can get your hands on. I can't recommend it highly enough. It ought to be required reading for every medic, healthcare worker, politician and every parent in all countries.
